The Slytherin Princess Of Hogwarts

Chapter 6

After my a refreshing Christmas break, my father told me to keep my grades at an 'O' level, It was immensely hard and was proving to be quite difficult

"Melody come on all you do is study lately"

I sighed "I'm sorry Draco I guess I have been working so hard I've been just trying to please my father"

"I know mel it's fine just come on the Slytherin vs Griffindorks"

I laugh at the name "okay lets go"

Grabbing my cloak and wand, me and Draco walk hand in hand to the field. We receive glances but people go back to the match pretty quickly

I sat down and immediately shivered, Draco removed his scarf and wrapped it around my neck

"Thanks" I whisper

"no problem" I leaned into his touch

Looking across the field I see granger and Weasley freak out about something in the teachers box , suddenly it goes up in flames

"Merlin sake the teachers box is on fire!"

Everyone turns and looks at the box "Potter catches the snitch! Griffindor wins"

I roll my eyes "oh goody"

Everybody ran off the field to find safety, I strolled off the pitch in a bit of a daze my mother believes I've picked up a bit of an attitude during my time at Hogwarts but I disagree with her because personally I believe for the first time I'm able to speak freely

Finally picking up the pace I see Harry leaning against the way muttering something to his self

"That was an interesting way to catch a snitch potter"

Potter looks up with flushed cheeks, he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly "yea I suppose I'm never going to live that down"

I chuckle a little "definitely not, well I best be off" leaving a rather dazed potter behind me I search for Draco

He was with nott, zabini and a rather ugly girl. She was flirting with him that much was clear feeling his hand laughing at everything he's saying

I felt a burning rage inside me something I've never felt before it was rather odd, picking up the pace I nearly sprinted over to him but then I realised I don't run

"Hey Draco, Theo and Blaise" I turn to the girl "I don't believe we've met I'm Melody Robinson"

The girl stares at my hand before flicking her hair and shaking it, I was confused as to why she flicked it as her hair stopped below her ears so she looked like she was having a bit of a spasm

"Pansy Parkinson"

I try to force a 'pleasure to meet you' but my mouth was sealed. I dislike her,  that much was clear after are 2 minutest meeting she has failed to impress me in anyway and one the mother told me not to do was lie

Blaise and nott giggled to themselves

"Draco I'm rather hungry I'm going to get some lunch" I began walking off before he called after me

"Hey Mel wait up I'll come too"

Before I knew it pug-face was following that annoyed me, what gave her the right to follow

I mentally thought before rolling my eyes, reaching the hall I sit down in my usual spot and began eating some soup and bread that was supplied while Draco demolished a sandwich and was once again eating an apple
