Chapter Twenty Two~ Enemy's Comfort

Cassandra's P.O.V

Nakalabas na kami sa bwisit na maze na iyon. Nag-away pa nga kami ng gunggong na iyon eh. Bwisit! Parang sinaniban eh. Sobrang kulit! 

"Yah! Cassie!" Oh! eto na naman siya. Tinignan ko siya na nanlilisik ang mga mata.

"Ano?! Kanina ka pa huh? May sapi ka ba at para bang iba ka sa sarili mo ngayon?!" sigaw ko sa kanya. Ngumite siya. Oh! Ayan pa. Panay ang ngiti niya. For all I know, cold ang leader ng 5X.

"You're too hot! Calm down." sabi pa niya at ngumite ulit. Argh! I hate his smiles! Damn it! I... I just something in... in my heart like damn it! I don 't understand it.

"Cassandra?" napatingin ako sa tumawag saakin. Pagtingin ko ay  si Binj pala at... 

"Bakit ka nakayakap sa mokong na yan?" kunot-noong tanong ko. Lumayo naman agad siya. 

"May s-sugat lang ako. Inalalayan lang niya ako." defensive niyang sagot. Edi okay! Tinignan ko ang iba hanggang sa nakita ko si Amanah. Wala siyang  malay! Tumakbo na agad ako papunta sa kanya.

"What happened to her?" I asked worriedly. Binaba ni Cross si Amanah. Tinignan ko agad ang kalagayan niya. Ano ba ang nangyari sa babaeng lukaret na ito?

"OMG! AMANAH!! HOY! CROSS! ANONG GINAWA MO SA KANYA?! MAY GINAWA KANG MASAMA NOH?" napapikit ako sa isinigaw ni Maxine. Ang ingay niya masyado. HIndi ko na lang siya pinansin at wala namang tumigil sa kanya kaya nagpatuloy rin ang gaga. 

"ISUSUMBONG KITA KAT GUS ABELGAS PAG MAY NANGYARE SA KANYA. PATI NA RIN SA TULFO BROTHERS AT PATI NA RIN-----" 

"Damn it, Maxine! Shut your mouth!" Naiiritang saway ni Michaela. Bad mood yata.

Tinignan ko si Cross. 

"Buhatin mo siya." tinignan ko ang paligid bago bumuntong hininga. This place... This place was our previous home before my dad and that woman parted ways. 

"You knew this place?" napatingin ako kay Ace. Darn it! Bakit na ang gwapo neto? Ahhh! Ano na bang nangyayati saakin?! ARGH! Nakakasira ng utak. Ang daldal rin ng utak ko! 

"It's our old home." pagkasambit ko nun ay napatingin ang lahat saakin. Bumigat ang paghinga. Those memories... The guns... The blood... Napapikit ako. Darn it! Bumabalik ang lahat  ng ala-ala. Those memories that turned my dreams into nightmares. 

Maxine's P.O.V

Nag-aalalang tumingin ako kay Cassandra. Kusa kasi itong napapikit ng mata. Tinignan ko ang paligid. It's the same place from the picture she burned. Nanlake ang mga mata ko. Her childhood is here. This is the place where her mother teaches her to use a gun and fight. Lumapit agad ako sa kanya. I'm worried as hell. Paglapit ko ay hinawakan ko ang kamay niya. 

Tinignan niya ako. Sadness and sorrows was in her eyes. I hate this look in her eyes. 

Bridge's P.O.V

Nakatingin lang ako kay Maxine. I know that my members are confuse. The Death Queen's leader is showing her weakness. Looking in her eyes, you can clearly saw some sadness but pain was more visible.

"So you all passed the obstacles." napatingin kami sa nagsalita and it's Cassandra's father. Tumingin siya kay Cassandra and he seemed worried. 

"Are you okay, Hezekiah?" 

Hezekiah? Si Cassandra ba yun? May first name pala siya. 

"Why did you brought us here? You know that I hate this place and the person who designed it." Cassandra muttered. Coldness in her voice. Natigilan kami  ng makitang lumabas ang isang  babae na kasing-edad ng tatay ni Cassie at nandoon rin ang kuya niya. 

Mas naguluhan kami ng biglang tumakbo sina Binj at Micah(Michaela) kay Cassandra. Okay? Ano na ang nangyayare? Naguguluhan na ako. Pasimpleng lumapit ako kay Ace. Pati rin ang ibang member maliban kay Cross dahil buhat parin nito si Amanah na walang malay. 

3rd Person 's P.O.V

Binj, Micah and Maxine tried to stop Cassandra. The member of Death Queens knew that Cassandra will attack soon. While the members of 5X was still confuse. 

In some aspects, I think this is Cassandra's mother. She got her eyes on her mother.

Ace thought. He is just studying everyone's move.

"H-Hezekiah..." Cassie's mother spoke. Cassandra stiffened. 

"Let me go." utos ni Cassandra sa tatlong myembro ng kanyang grupo. Umiling ang tatlo. "Let me go or you'll regret it." pagpapatuloy niya kaya binitawan na rin siya ng iba. 

"And for you, woman. Only special persons are on ly allowed to call me in that name. And you're not special." 

"Hezekiah! She is still your mother!" sita ni Alejandro sa anak niya. Nasasaktan na siya sa panagsasabi ng anak niya. He wanted his family to ba back. For the sake of her only daughter.

"For all I know, I DON'T HAVE A MOTHER!" Cassandra shouted and walked out. 

Ace's P.O.V

Nalimutan na siguro ng mag-amang ito na nandito pa kami at naririnig namin ang pinagsasabi at pinag-aawayan nila. Pero that's not in my concern now. I followed Cassandra. Her members was about to follow but my members stopped them.

"Ace!" napatingin ako sa tumawag saakin. It's Binj.

"Take care of her. She's... She's kinda fragile... right now." I just nodded. I ran to follow her and I guess she didn't notice it. Good. 

She stopped running so I also stopped.

"Who the hell give you the permission to follow me?" napangiti na lang ako. This girl is making me smile today. Today, when we we're stuck on that maze. I saw her mad, blush, and sad. Now, I wish to see her smile.

I looked around and knew that we stopped at the garden part.

"Your friends gave me the permission. You can tell me your problem. I'll listen." I suddenly have the the urge to comfort this woman. I... I don't want to see her sad. 

"Your my enemy, Ace! Darn it! Please get away. Please!" she said and turned her back. Papaiyak na siguro siya. Pero hindi ko sinunod ang sinabi niya. Lumapit pa ako lalo.

"Sabi ko nang lumay eh! Bwisit ka! Bakit ba ang tigas ng bumbunan mo huh?!" ewan ko kung matatawa ako kung hindi but there's only one thing that I want to do just to comfort her.

I hugged her... tightly.

"I am you enemy so... I'll... I'll be here to comfort as your enemy. You can kick me, slap me. Like you always do in the underground battle. Or you can cry."

"I won't cry!!" she said but I heard a sob. I looked at her face.

"Your too stubborn, Hezekiah." I said. Suddenly have the feeling to call her in her first name.

"Who told you---"

"Shh!! Just... Just cry and let out your emotions... I'm here." I said and rubbed her back. Napa-upo kami sa damuhan. I rested her head in my shoulders.

"I hate her! Damn her! I hate her!!" I heard her shouted. I hugged her tightly. She shouted the same words again and again until she stopped and she just cried and cried. 

I sighed. Nangangalay na ako sa kakayakap sa kanya at parang dislocated na rin ang nce or mas maiging tawaging na stiff neck na neck ko. Hayzz!!

"Thank you for comforting..." I smiled at what she said. Marunong pala tong magpasalamat. Magsasalita na sana ako ng nagsalita ulit siya.

"But you're still my enemy, Ace... My favorite enemy..."
