"Yoojung! Wait up!"

Yoojung turned around, surprised to see Jimin following her. She frowned. "What are you doing out here?"

"Are you alright?" Jimin observed her carefully.

"Why would I not be alright?" Yoojung questioned.

"I don't know," Jimin looked at her carefully. "You asked Yoongi to follow, so I thought you might need someone's help. Are your shoes bothering you?"

Yoojung raised her eyebrows. "I'm surprised you noticed."

"Huh?"

"Well..." Yoojung scoffed. "I thought you were too busy taking care of your prom date to notice."

"What?" Jimin laughed. "What are you talking about-"

"Putting food on her plate."

Jimin stared blankly at her.

"Asking her if her shoes were uncomfortable," Yoojung began listing. "Asking her if she needed lip balm, offering her water-"

"Wait, hold up-" Jimin frowned. "You're one to talk. Who was the one who kept clinging on to her prom date, telling him your feet hurt, telling him your fish had bones, asking him to put food on your plate-"

"You're worse!" Yoojung insisted. "You gave her your jacket, kept smiling at her, you guys looked like you were having such a great time together, huh."

"Oh, please!" Jimin snorted. "Who was the one who was telling her prom date so many interesting stories that he was laughing so hard when he's usually half dead, huh? Who was the one who had so much skinship with her prom date I didn't even know where to look-"

"Who was the one offering to take his prom date home, huh?" Yoojung's voice was getting louder every second.

"I didn't!" Jimin exclaimed, his volume also rising.

"I heard you!" Yoojung insisted.

"Fine, I did! So what?!" Jimin shouted back. "Yoongi also did the same!"

"Good for you then!" Yoojung shouted. "Y'all look great together! Go date her then!

"What?!" Jimin scoffed. "I thought you and Yoongi looked better! Why not you guys go get married?"

"Pfft," Yoojung rolled her eyes. "You have a crush on her anyway, don't you? Y'all would look amazing, except you're too short for her!"

"Why are you dissing me about my height right now?!" Jimin shrieked. "As if you're that tall yourself!"

"Girls don't need to be tall!" Yoojung shouted back. "Guys need to be tall! And you aren't!"

"This is ridiculous," Jimin scoffed. "Anyway, why are we arguing about this?"

"We're arguing about this because it bothers me, alright?!" Yoojung admitted. "The two of you before my very eyes-"

"What did we do?!" Jimin frowned. "And why would you care?! It has nothing to do with you!"

"What do you mean it has nothing to do with me?!" Yoojung yelled. "Of course it has something to do with me! It has everything to do with me!"

Yoojung paused. No, Yoojung. Don't say it, don't say it.

"Because what?" Jimin laughed. "Because you're so selfish everything has to do with you? Because even after rejecting me you think you own my heart? Is that it, Choi Yoojung?"

Yoojung was enraged. No, don't say it- Control yourself, Choi Yoojung. Don't say-

"Because I'm jealous! Okay?! I'm so freaking mad that you, Park frickin Jimin, asked Kim Doyeon to prom instead of me!" The words came out of Yoojung's mouth before she could stop herself. "I hate the fact that you two are flirting and laughing before my very eyes, I hate the fact that you are taking care of her instead of me, I hate the fact that I rejected you when you confessed! I hate the fact that I cannot help but like you! You happy?!"

No. Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no.

Yoojung covered her mouth with both hands. She wanted to slap herself so bad. What had she just done? Urgh, stupid mouth, you-

Now Jimin was probably gonna reject her. He was gonna say he was in love with Doyeon and flat out reject her. Well, great. It was her just desserts anyway. Who asked her to reject him in the first place? Now was her turn.

Yoojung glanced up at Jimin carefully. But he didn't looked upset, he didn't look angry... he was grinning - from ear to ear.

"Me too."

"Huh?" Yoojung frowned, not sure if she was really hearing what she heard.

"I said me too," Jimin pursed his lips, trying not to smile.

"What?" Yoojung stared at Jimin with a blank expression on her face. "Why? I thought you liked Doyeon-"

"I do," Jimin acknowledged. "She's a great girl. I like her a lot... as a friend."

Yoojung blinked several times.

"Choi Yoojung," Jimin laughed. "Are you a fool? I literally confessed to you a couple weeks ago, you think I'd get over you so fast?"

Yoojung nodded slowly. "I honestly thought you did."

"I never did," Jimin smiled gently. "Not for a single minute."
