Luna walked into camp, breathing in deeply to camp her nerves when she ran straight into something that sent her falling. “What the hell?” She groaned, feeling like she ran into a wall. when she looked up, she was met with hazel eyes that tilted with the strangers head; he kinda looked like Jesus.

Damnit. She thought. She had a weak spot for people with brown eyes. “Am I dead?” Luna asked, making the guy chuckle. “I’m not far from it.” He offered his hand only for Luna to swipe at air. “Too slow.” He said with a smirk, kneeling down to her level.

What an asshole! Luna glared at him but couldn’t help but crack a smile at seeing his. There was something about it that was contagious, maybe because it was still innocent and genuine. “You know, that’s offensive to short people.” Luna told him, kicking out his left leg from underneath him.

He couldn’t help but snort at her attempt of making him fall down but he let her win and let himself sit down. “When did you get here?” Luna asked, knowing for a fact that she never seen him and was wondering if this was a trick by the Entity; although the smile he wore made her highly doubt it.

“I think yesterday? Although, there isn’t a sun here just a moon so maybe a few hours.” He wondered out loud. “Have you been tested yet?” Luna asked, making him raise his eyebrow. “Tested? What for?”

Luna blinked before sighing. “Have you had a killer chase you and three others around?” The man then scrunched up his nose, cringing at memories only he could see. “Only one but that wasn’t pleasant.” He told her. “Yeah, just wait until you get moried.”

“Moried?” He chuckled and looked at her. “Tuesdays with Morrie!” Luna just looked at him, standing up. Is this guy serious? “What are you talking about?” Luna asked but was cut off with Hope tackling her in a hug. “You’re okay!!” She yelled, hugging Luna tight.

“Of course I am.” Luna told her, returning the hug. “Ah! So you’ve met Boris.” Hope smiled, gesturing over the guy still sitting on the ground. He gave a wave with his cheeky grin making Luna shake her head.

“Boris Nelson.” He introduced himself, “I’m uh, pretty cool guy.” Luna covered her mouth with her hand, trying to suppress her laughter. This fucking 6-foot guy is the definition of a goofball. “Are you always a dork?” Luna asked. “I know you are but what am I.”

“I take it back, you’re a child.” Luna smirked, crossing her arms. “I know you are but what am I?” He repeated, standing up. Luna rolled her eyes and began to stretch, looking at Hope. “So when was the last trial?” Luna asked.

“Well, so far we were the last ones and it’s been a long while. Luna noticed that it got slightly darker so it was safe to say that night time was upon them. “Gather everyone at the fire and tell them not to say a word.” Luna ordered, making Hope nod and running off.

Luna noticed that something was off about Hope, she wasn’t as cheerful as she usually was. Luna was concerned about Hope’s well-being, seeing as Hope was held close to her heart. She decided to ask Hope about it after she was done sharing the journal with everyone.

Luna then suddenly felt tense when she felt a presence behind her, making her jump forwards and wipe around, in a defensive stance. It was only Boris. “Fuckin’ hell. Don’t stand behind me.” Luna breathed, relaxing. She noticed that he always slightly tilted his head when something confused him.

Luna had to admit that it was kind of funny and cute and the same time but would never admit it out loud. “C’mon, go to the campfire.” Luna told him, heading to her tent. She kneeled down and grasped the journal when she noticed that is was bent at the back page.
