"For newcomers, you did well." A gruff voice mumbled. He had a lit cigarette in his mouth and had a scruffy beard gray that connected to his matching gray hair; due to experience Luna guessed. Luna was happy her allergies didn't transfer over because she would've been coughing at the smell and could possibly pass out.

"You trying to lift my ego old man?" Smug asked, a small smirk appearing on Smug’s face. Bill raised his eyebrow, flicking his cigarette. "Old man? We'll see about that." He gruffed, but the corner of Bill’s mouth began to curl, signaling a smile. "What I don't get is how you were able to push past the killer when you were in that locker." Hope pointed out, shaking her head. "What?! You were able to escape lockers?" An athletic girl with pigtails and a guy with glasses with a red shirt that read 'PizzaWhat' with a pizza under the text; a small white text read 'Dwight' on the top left hand shoulder, had asked.

"I mean.. It was kind of difficult.” Luna muttered, rubbing her shoulder. Her face flushed red as she wasn’t used to this kind of attention. “Sorry, it’s just, everyone avoids lockers because of being trapped, well except Dwight here,” The girl had pointed to the guy wearing a red 'PizzaWhat' t-shirt. “I’m sorry but, who are all of you?” Autumn asked, a bit annoyed that she didn’t know anyone by name.

“Sorry hun, we’re just excited about newcomers.” A rough, yet smooth voice sounded behind them. Autumn had turned to see a guy with a hat, sunglasses, a shirt shirt with a jacket, and some grey worn out jeans. “I’m Ace Visconti.” The guy said with a smirk, causing Autumn to roll her eyes. “I’m Meg Thomas,” The athletic girl introduced, waving at Hope. “Oh yeah! You told Hope what to do! You basically saved our lives.” Luna told Meg, who blushed and looked away. “Yeah, yeah.”

The soft tune of the guitar stopped, making them look over at the blonde hair girl. “I’m Kate Denson. Nice to meet y’all!” She flashed a wink over at Smug before going back to playing her guitar. Smug looked stunned then extremely embarrassed, he didn’t expect that to happen and it caught him off guard. “I-I’m Dwight.” The nervous man in the ‘PizzaWhat’ shirt introduced, offering his hand. Luna shook it firmly, seeing as she was closer, causing Dwight to smile. “N-Nice handshake.” He stuttered. “I’m Claudette.” Hope jumped when a mixed girl with black hair emerged from the shadows. “You scared the hell outta me me!” Hope yelled, feeling her heart beating out of her chest; causing Claudette to only chuckle.

“I’m Bill Overbeck,” The gruff voice came from the man smoking, his eyes trailed over to Smug, “Or known as ‘Old Man’ by yours truly.” Smug let out a snort of amusement, his hand instantly went over his mouth after he made the noise. “I’m Nea,” The girl in a muscle t-shirt introduced, waving a Smug then winking at Hope. Hope’s face grew red and did her best to hide it. “I’m David.” A well-built man with bandages around his knucles, blood had already soaked them; only with red pants on. Dwight began blushing when David sat besides him, Luna picking up what was happening almost immediately.

“A few others are in a match still.” Nea pointed out. “Who?” Autumn asked. Knowledge was power, the more she knew, the more she could blend in. That’s all what Autumn wanted, was just to blend it and be accept. “Well there’s Feng, Adam, Jeff, Tapp, Laurie, Quentin, and Jake.” Meg’s checks slightly burned when she said Jake’s name.

Autumn’s blood ran cold when she heard Quentin’s name. ‘Quentin?? As in the victim of Freddy??’ Autumn’s thought of Quentin exposing her last name scared the hell out of her. Even though she wasn't exactly related to Freddy Krueger, he could make it a big deal and run her out. The thought made Autumn shake from the chills that ran up her arms. “What’s your name?” Meg’s question made Autumn jumped out of her skin then trying to hide her nervousness with a laugh, “Oh, I’m Autumn!” She said with a bright smile. Meg was taken aback about how fast she had switched her mood. “Smug, at your service.” Smug repeated, doing the same butler bow that he had did when meeting Luna, Hope, and Autumn. “I’m Luna.” She introduced, giving a small wave. “And I’m Hope!” Hope let out a giggle, then looked confused when everyone, besides the four friends, looked at Hope in shock. “What?” She asked, confused to why everyone was looking at her.

They were new! How can you mess you so badly!?” A loud howl rang in Evan’s ear. “I-I’m sorry.” Evan tried to apologize but let out a loud cry of pain as another piece of metal pierced through his right arm. Evan dropped to his knees, holding his arm in pain. Blood covered his hand and tears rolled down his cheeks, though hidden by his twisted mask. “If that hurt then I assure you that you won't like it the next time you fail me..” The Entity spat and turned away, leaving Evan alone in the killers campfire. “Evan!” A worried voice, followed by frantic footsteps closing in on him.

Evan moved his head when the stranger helped him up. He looked over to see Herman, which made him roll his eyes to see him being the one helping him. “Put me down.” Evan growled, trying to pull away but the Entity drained him of all of his energy. “Stop being to rude, I’m not letting you be alone.” Herman huffed, slightly upset at Evan’s words. Evan had noticed that he didn’t have his head gear on and he had left his trenchcoat in the small shacks they were given. Herman had laid him down on a cot by the campfire. Evan couldn't help but feel his cheeks burn but shook the thoughts away.

“What are you-” Evan was cut off by letting out a yelp of pain, cringing as Herman touched his arm. Herman instantly pulled his hand back, his eyes wide at the amount of pain Evan endured by The Entity. “You fu-” Evan trailed off by Herman cleaning the wound, gently touching his skin. Evan couldn’t help but his face burning at how gentle his touch was; it relaxed him enough for Herman to inject a general anesthesia into his arm. “H-Hey..” Evan tried reaching out to Herman but winced. Herman pulled Evan's mask off, who flitched at the motion, and placed a specialized gas mask around his mouth. “Breath in,” Herman instructed. Evan did exactly what Herman told him to and eventually fell asleep. Herman then put a tube down his windpipe and began to treat the area around the metal.

Herman couldn’t take the metal out because the Entity wouldn’t let it, though he could make it feel like it wasn’t there; to live with it. Herman began to treat it and disinfected it, moving and positioning the metal where it wouldn’t interfere with his bones. Herman finally finished and removed the tube and the gas mask. A few minutes later, Evan woke up moving his tongue around in his mouth. “Water.” He groaned. Herman smiled and handed him a cup of water. “You’ll feel better soon.” Herman promise. Evan was shaking, being cold due to the anesthesia. Herman moved to wrap his trench coat around Evan before taking the cup from him; laying Evan down.

“Try sleeping it off.” Herman advised, turning to walk out. “No, wait!” Evan called out, his eyes shaking. Herman turned back, shocked. “Yes Evan?” Herman asked, his head tilted. “Lay with me..please?” He begged, causing Herman to blushed. “Sure,” Herman said with a genuine smile. Herman laid down besides Evan, who instantly fell asleep, his arm wrapped around Herman’s waist.
