Time: 2:27pm
Date: 12th of January 2019
Setting: Joe's Hotel Room.

As Harley showered, Joe sat on the couch watching television, flicking through channels to actually find something interesting to watch. A sudden ping on Harleys phone distracted him, and he picked up the womans phone to check. The notification caused his heart to sink. A knot tied in the bottom of his stomach and sadness erupted him.

Tinder
Dominic: Hey you haven't really replied about our date? I know we last messaged in 2018 but I really would like to get to know you.

Joe sighed. He had to be over-thinking. Dominic said it himself. They hadn't talked since 2018, what's the big deal? Yet, Joe found himself unlocking Harleys phone and opening up the Tinder app. He never felt the need to be this nosey, but considering how much he cared for the mother of his soon-to-be born child, he had a sudden urge to protect it at all costs. His breath hitched as he saw some of the messages from men,

George
Hey cutie, nudes?

Harley
Uh sorry, not right now.

-

Luke
How come you haven't been responding? You don't have to be such a slut.

Harley
Excuse me? I didn't want to hook up at 3am and now I am a slut? I'm busy Luke! Bog off.

-

Paul
I had a great time last night, wanna catch up again?

Joe's scrolling was soon interrupted by Harley who was standing there with a towel around her, her eyes wide. "Why are you on my phone?" She asked, cautiously.

"You got a notification. From Tinder."

"Joe, I don't use that anymore. I just forgot to delete it."

"Some of the messages on here are horrible! How could you forget to delete that!"

"Oh my God! You need to back off! It is my business and I did not give you permission to go on my phone anyway!" Harleys heart was breaking. It was their first fight.

"Actually, it is my business! I don't need my girlfriend, carrying my child to be exposed to the shit that goes on, on that app! Sorry for caring that you still had a dating app, EVEN THOUGH you're pregnant! And you have a boyfriend! I don't need this right now. I'm going for a walk." Joe stormed out, slamming the door behind him. At the sudden slamming sound Harley burst into tears. She knew hormones were no excuse for her sudden outburst at Joe, and she had no right to be mad, but she couldn't help but sit there and cry. As she got changed she continued crying. As she walked over to grab her phone, she felt a large wave of guilt wash over her. Opening up her phone, she deleted the app.

"I'm so sorry Joe." She whispered, rubbing her stomach sadly.

"I seriously don't know where he is Gwilym!" Harley shook her head. It was close to 10pm and Joe still hadn't come home, and Harley was worrying even more. "We had a stupid fight that didn't need to happen and he stormed out. He just said he was going for a walk." Harley sighed as Gwilym reassured her that he, Rami, and Ben would be our looking for him.

"God we have 6 days left here and instead of sightseeing, we're looking for a missing child." Gwilym sighed, attempting to make Harley laugh. It didn't work. Suddenly, an idea struck Harley.

"I think I might know where he is!" She cried, "I'll call you back later." As she rushed to grab her coat, she raced down to the elevator. On her way down Harley had to think about getting a ride. When the elevator reached the bottom, Harley rushed over to the reception. "Do you have any rental bikes?" She asked in a hurry.

"Well, yes. We only have limited night equipped ones though."

"I'll take it, I'm just in a a hurry." Soon enough, Harley found herself biking towards her destination, speeding past people to get through. Before she could even contemplate that he may not be there, Harley locked up the bike and walked into the park, her flashlight from her phone being turned off, as the street lamps were enough to illuminate the entire park. Including the pond with the bridge. As she trudged closer, she saw a slumped figure on the bridge. Nearing the figure, she heard quiet sobs. "Joe?" She called softly, arriving next to him. Joe turned to see Harley, his eyes puffy and bloodshot.

"Oh, you found me." He sniffed, rubbing his eyes.

"Baby, I am so sorry. I had no right to yell at you like that. You're only looking out for me and it was stupid not to delete the app."

"Yeah, it was." Joe retorted, causing Harley to laugh slightly.

"I love you so much, I'm so sorry." Harley cried, wrapping her arms around Joe.

"I love you too." He replied, wrapping his arms back around her. As they pulled away, Harley wiped her tears and smiled.

"Now, let's get home, shall we?" As they walked out of the park Harley noticed the bike she rented. "Let me just grab this." Joe snorted at the sight of the small, lit-up bike.

"I really feel like playing bicycle race right now." He joked, earning an eye roll from Harley.

"Honestly Joe, I expected fat bottomed girls." As they walked off, back to the hotel, Harley couldn't help but wonder how she got so lucky to have such a forgiving, attractive and sweet man be the father of her child.

Aww. I originally had a different ending where Harley was actually seeing someone else before she and Joe became official, and another one where she finds out she isn't really pregnant. But I thought this might be better. I realized they hadn't fought yet and I needed to add it so, here ya go! Won't be an update this time tomorrow cause it is 3:30am and I was doing so well with my sleeping.
