That's when I hear a baby crying and take a deep ass breath. I start to pant a bit and the nurse wraps the baby and gives her to me. My breathing calms down. I hold her and she looks alot like Alex. I start to laugh but cry tears of joy at the same time.

She already had a full head of hair and her eyes were so wide open. I smiled and just gazed into my babys eyes. I couldn't stop tearing up. That's when the nurse looks at me.
Nurse: want your family in here now? Leilani: no I just want to be alone for a bit Nurse: ok I'll leave you 2 alone then
The nurse smiles and walks out and shuts the door. I look back at my baby.
Leilani: You look so much like your dad...damn I gotta give you a name
I start to think.
Leilani: ugh I wish your dad was here to help me think
I look down at her and kiss her forehead gently.
Leilani: Besides your name starting with a K its gonna start with an A...for your dad
The baby gives me a smile and I start to cry tears of joy.
Leilani: aw your smile is so perfect...just like his...but yunno what your gonna fill that hole in my heart
That's when I start to think harder and harder...
Leilani: i finally got your name...you my bundle of joy are gonna be given the name A-
