Okay. I'm totally biased because this is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. It's not just because it's healthy and packed with super power foods but the cilantro is how Mexico is supposed to smell. It's spicy, strong and brings so much flavor.

The authentic Mexican recipe ;)

Ingredients

4 - 5 ripe avocados

3 tomatoes

1/3 Onion

Cilantro (Coriander leaves) * I like to use a lot, but it's how you like it

Olive oil

Lime juice

Salt and pepper

Green chili pepper (if you want it hot, use two, but I've made it without chili and it tastes good either way)

Chop your onion finely. If you're using one or two chilis, take out all the seeds and chop them as much as you can. Place everything in a large bowl where you know that everything will fit. Cut your tomatoes in small dices and mix everything together.

Now, grab your avocado and open it in half

Now, grab your avocado and open it in half. Take out the seed and smash it with a fork. You can do this separately but because I'm lazy and I don't want to wash another bowl, I do it in the same place.

Right after smashing your avocados, you need to squeeze lime juice into the mix

Right after smashing your avocados, you need to squeeze lime juice into the mix. As much as you can (I usually use two limes for this) because this, along with the olive oil, will prevent that the avocado turns brown.

Add a splash of olive oil, salt and pepper to the taste.

And enjoy :)
