A Winter's Night

A winter's night,
filled with poetic dreams,
when silence itself is sleeping warm and tight,
all is nothing but what it seems;

I hope to fall,
land in my thoughts which are like mountains, beautiful and tall,
walking across a pond of ice,
looking at all this peaceful beauty comes with no price;

The night is black and dull,
But it's mystery is what completes it all,
and maybe one day when the North Star passes by,
I can spread my wings and fly,
Though when living in Winter's Night,
I already am flying,
just not everyone can see certain things;
