Just Say No

You think you have to care,
it was never fair,
I've taken most of what you can give,
I'm sure you no longer have that will to live;

Let me tell you that don't have to do this,
You can just walk out with utter bliss,
you're just choosing not to,
I'm just telling you this because I care for you;

I'm not trying to make you feel guilty,
I'm just trying to save you,
I'm not trying to be heartless,
I just want to save you from the darkness,
It's not that I'm too good at goodbyes,
it just that time flies,
and I'm waiting on you to just say no;

Why would you go on and hurt yourself,
you and I know you can do better,
Why bring this onto yourself,
you don't if you don't want to, we don't have  to stay together;

I'm just telling you that you don't have to put yourself through this,
You can go live with utter bliss,
you're just choosing not to,
I'm telling you this because I love you;
