It was a dark scene, as colorful flames blanketed the land. A once beautiful forest now transformed into a dreadful battlefield with corpses scattered as far as one could see, the ashes from burning towns saturating the air with a dense smog, as it further painted this chaotic atmosphere.

Looking around one would also see a myriad of broken structures built on top of the tall ancient trees that could not shroud them from these surrounding dangers.

A gloomy rain fell upon this land, unable to calm the rising fires nor ease the spirits of the fallen ones, as it caused a sad mood to frolic about the region. In one particular town, there was a group of well-armored natives from different races gathered together at the central district.

They each carried a solemn look on their faces as they gazed towards the young dwarfin that stood before them and waited for him to speak, not taking too long the dwarfin finally spoke with a deep voice, "It's now been four days since the assault on our towns and villages, and there have been many causalities. If things keep like this, we will lose all of our hideouts to the enemies before we even have a chance to strike to them directly. From our calculations thus far, regarding their attack patterns and routes it is certain the enemy will be assaulting this town in their next attempt to seek our main hideout, as such, all men must be alert and prepare to strike at their forces while they least expect it."

"Yes, sir!" The army members said in unison as they saluted Leon, seeing this, Leon nodded his head and spoke once again, "Dismissed!"

After finishing his words, his body blurred and vanished from their sights appearing at the peak of the town walls. There, a handsome red-haired youth stood along with a tall and slender green-skinned man along with a small blue-haired fairy that had beautiful golden wings.

"The enemy is slippery, even with my senses it took me this long to vaguely acquire their positions. It seems that treasure they are using is capable of obstructing the forests ability to interact with people of my kind." Treantous said with a frown on her cute little face.

Leon hearing his words nodded his head and replied, "Um. If it weren't for this, we wouldn't have had so many losses in our previous bouts, the forces belonging to the alliance leaders have each suffered a significant deal of damage yet the enemies main army had managed to avoid all fronts, leaving behind only the grunt units as baits for us to face."

Feng Yu remained silent as he heard their words, his eyes scanning the woods for any signs of change while lost in his thoughts, "Strange, now that I think about it their route seems too direct, could it be that the treasure they are using is able to point them to the fairyland directly?"

As he thought to himself, he looked towards Myria, Treantous, and Leon in preparation to ask about his concerns, but before he could say anything, there was a sudden change.

Rustle! The tall hedges that surrounded the town started to sway violently as the sound of marching could vaguely be heard in the distance, a sentry seeing this made a strange hand-sign by placing his lips on his fingers before blowing.

Wiiiiiiiiiiii~! Instantly, a loud whistling sound that only the natives could hear echoed within their minds waking them from whatever task they were doing.

"The enemies are in sight!" A loud voice said.

The natives being well organized instantly responded as they heard the whistling and words of the voice, quickly getting themselves into position entering a strange circular formation at the central location of the town.
