Now she screamed the time is now
If not now then never
Because present becomes past in micromoments

Too fast she screamed we need to slow up
We are not prepared for what comes
And I fear the future is unnecessary

Sinners she whispered you're all doomed
Waiting will be your depressive end
Moving forward will freeze in false happiness

Why try she sobbed it frightens me so
Does a heart need love and validation
Or a featherweight brain the logic of failure

So be it she smiled we are not prisoners
The choice to survive or fly is ours
But it is not enough to wish for wings

Jump?

Fall?

Love?

Breathe.

Suppress.

Remember.
