Peter has the ability to fall asleep anywhere if he feels safe or comfortable, and I mean anywhere. the avengers have been spooked by the arachnid to many times to count. Peter accidentally scared bucky so bad he screamed and woke the whole tower up, Stevie nearly had a heart attack when he woke up from a nap to see a leg dangling in front of his face. Tony made a protocol that warns people when they walk into a room that peter is on the ceiling and not to freak out.
