"This cute?" I asked Talia holding the dress up to me
She nodded "Yeah that bodycon dress will hug your baby bump just right"
"Thanks again for coming with me, Rashad just has been so busy lately. And i know he's working so I just be patient" I told her
"Your so considerate cause I'd be flipping tables" She joked "this is just as much his baby shower as it is yours"
I handed the cashier my money and they gave me the bag and my change. We walked out.
My phone buzzed. It was a text from Jessi.
Jessi: the other day I ran to Rashad, he was at dinner with some lady and a boy that look an awfully like him
My blood boiled.
"Are you ok?" Talia asked me
I sat down on the bench in the middle of mall rubbing my stomach. I guess the baby felt I was upset too because they started kicking.
I breathe out "Yeah just the baby kicking up a storm"
She giggle "It's ready to come on up outta there"
We sat for a minute while I calmed down. If Rashad had something going on, he'd tell me. My father and brother did business with women all the time. I shook the thought off and we started to walk again.
"I really need to go lay down I'm feeling nauseous" I lied
Talia nodded "Okay lets go then"
She dropped me off at my house and I laid in my bed. Could he be cheating on me? Nah i doubt it. He has an explanation, it was probably just business. I texted him.

I ended falling asleep while shopping for furniture for the new place.
I woke up scratching my head looking at the clock.
"Damn I didn't mean to sleep this long" I said noticing it was going on midnight

I texted Rashad.

I dressed myself in a sweatsuit and grabbed my keys speed walking outta my house. I know I was going 80mph for sure. I pulled up hopping out. I stormed inside pushing his works out the way.
I busted in Rashad's office.
"Ty. Ant. Out" i said pointing to the door
"Don't wanna upset the pregnant lady. We leaving" Ant said throwing his hands up as he and Ty left
I slammed the door.
"What's wrong?" Rashad asked innocently
I threw my phone at him "You think I'm stupid Rashad? Do i look like boo boo the fucking fool?"
He looked at the picture stunned.
"And Jessi texted me earlier talking about some bitch and a kid what's up with that?" I asked him
He sighed "Amour she hit me up out the blue on some wild. I didn't tell you cause I had it handled. But the other day she told me meet her on some emergency type shit"
I folded my arms.
"I met her at the restaurant and that's when she tells me her son is my kid and that I need to take a DNA test"
My mouth dropped. I could cry. I thought I was having Rashad's first child.
"And you were gonna hide it from me?" I asked him I felt my lip bottom trembling

"And of top of that you was in that bitch hotel room!!" I shouted
He stood up "Amour this old as hell. I ain't seen shorty since we been together besides these last couple days."
He walked up to me and I snatched from him
I instantly felt pain in my stomach "Ahhh"

I put my hand on my stomach taking deep breaths. I walked to the door "If it's not about this baby Rashad. We having nothing to talk about." I snatched the door open "See you at the baby shower"
I walked out slamming the door walking downstairs and out the warehouse. Rashad was chasing behind me. I got in my car slamming the door locking it.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I shouted as the tears spewed from my eyes
He stood at the window watching me "Amour open the door man. Please calm down"
I shook my head turning on my car and putting it in reverse "Leave me alone"
I backed out my parking spot and drove off to my house. I just couldn't stop crying.
