"GET AWAY FROM HER!" A loud voice bellowed causing Peter to jump back in surprise.

Aurora turned her head towards the voice. There he stood, Sirius Black, her father. He wore a dirty prison suit that was ripped in most of it's places. His hair was pitch black and unkempt. His skin was deadly pale causing his grey eyes to seem dark. Aurora couldn't help but feel sad for her dad, he looked almost like a corpse, so thin that you could clearly see his cheekbones and his sunken cheeks. Her eyes got watery as she stared at the man in front of her before she took three large steps and threw her arms around him.

Sirius was taken back by the affection, he definitely wasn't expecting to be greeted this way but his mouth formed a large smile showing his yellow teeth as he gripped his fifteen year old daughter close to his chest. His stormy eyes looking like they have life in them for the first time in thirteen years. He soothingly stroked the long locks that fell down her back as they stayed locked in the embrace.

"I missed you," Aurora finally whispered, her voice wavering.

"I missed you too, my dear," Sirius told her, his voice quiet as he whispered into her ear before the father and daughter pulled away.

Aurora finally glanced around the room, in the corner there was a four-poster bed with dusty hangings that were now collapsed, a body lying underneath them, "Is that Snape?" she asked, her voice shocked as she looked up at her father who nodded his head in response.

She then turned her attention to Remus, he was standing next to an old beaten up piano in front of three thirteen year old students- Harry, Hermione and Ron.

Harry smiled at the black haired girl, "It's good you got here when you did," he told her, "We didn't want him getting away again," and he glared at Peter, whose arm was now held by Remus in a tight grip.

"Let's get him to Dumbledore," Remus spoke up. Everyone nodded before he made his way out of the room still gripping tightly onto Peter. Sirius and Harry quickly went over to Ron's side helping him walk out that's when Aurora noticed the huge gash on his leg. She walked behind them with Hermione both of them had their wands out. When they climbed out of The Whomping Willow, Sirius and Harry placed Ron down on one of the large roots that was sticking out whilst Hermione checked his leg.

Sirius placed one of his hands on Aurora's back and one on Harry's, leading the pair away from everyone else before he looked up at the castle in front of him, internally reminiscing about his own days when he walked through those halls, "It's beautiful, isn't it," he said admiring the castle in all it's glory, "I'll never forget the first time I walked through those doors. It'll be nice to do it again...as a free man," he said before he glanced down at Harry for a split second, "It was a noble thing you did there, Harry."

"He didn't deserve it," Harry said, his voice stern as he looked back at Peter who was pleading Remus to let him go, "I didn't think my dad would have wanted his best friends to become killers .... Besides, dead, the truth dies with him. Alive, you're free."

Sirius smiled but didn't say anything as he put his hand around his daughter's shoulders and kissed the top of her head, smiling fondly at how well she had grown up, "I don't know if you know this Harry, but when you were born Lily and James made me your godfather."

"I know," Harry replied.

"I can understand if you choose to stay with your aunt and uncle....but if you ever wanted a different home...." Sirius trailed off as he smiled at the two teenagers.

"What? Come and live with you?" Harry asked in disbelief.

Sirius nodded his head at his daughter, "With us. That is if you were to want to. Once I'm a free man."

Aurora couldn't help but grin happily at her dad and her god-brother. It was finally time for them to be a real family, she was sure that Remus would come with them too.

"Harry!" Hermione shouted before Harry could reply, her voice frantic.

Three heads turned around to look at the scene behind them, where Remus was crying out in pain whilst Peter sat close to him. Sirius quickly ran over, pushing Remus away from the teenagers.

"Have you taken your potion tonight?" Sirius asked, his hands pressed against Remus' chest, "You know the man you truly are, Remus! The heart is where you truly live! Here! This flesh is only flesh."

Panicked, Aurora ran over to the man that was now starting his transformation as the Full Moon shone brightly in the night sky.

"Run!" Sirius shouted at the teenagers before he transformed himself into a large black dog and ran up to the werewolf, making sure it wouldn't run at the teenagers. Before they could blink Peter Pettigrew started to shrink, his clothes became baggy as his face morphed and then he disappeared only seconds later climbing out of the clothes as a rat.

Harry tried to catch the rat whilst Aurora stopped in her tracks as she saw the werewolf push the black dog down a hill and then turn his head towards Ron and Hermione. Before it could approach them another howl sounded through the air peaking the interest of the werewolf. Aurora let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding when the werewolf ran towards the Forbidden Forest.

Harry and herself quickly ran down the hill that Sirius had tumbled down in whilst in his animagus form and spotted him by the lake. Aurora knelt down as she pressed her hand against his wounds before muttering a spell causing bandages to appear on the cuts. Before she could do anything else though she felt a weird feeling creep upon her. She looked up and saw the lake turning to ice whilst her own body froze as well. Dementors.

The big black cloaked figures were speeding down towards her, Sirius and Harry. The two teenagers trying to fend them off but the feeling of depression hovered over them not allowing their minds to think clearly as the Demetors began to suck their souls.

Aurora felt light headed as she felt the black figures latch onto her and before she knew it she fell besides her father, the world turning black.

AN- One more chapter then it's the end of Prisoner of Azkaban.

I feel like I rushed some of the earlier chapters but I think now I know how I want to get them together so hopefully the next 'year' won't be so rushed.
