You Belong with Me

Part One - Chapter Nineteen: Presentations

Cristiano shifted nervously as he waited to be introduced to Florentino Pérez, he jumped slightly as Alexa took his hand to comfort him; she didn't like that he seemed so nervous about all of this.

Alexa was wearing a black organza floral print dress paired with nude embellished ankle shoe boots for the presentation; she had wanted to look nice since it was an important day in her boyfriend's career.

Cristiano smiled at her nervously as she rubbed his hand with hers; Cristiano would be signing his contract in the next few minutes before he would be given his new jersey.

Cristiano was wearing a suit and was shifting every few minutes until Florentino entered the room, the older man smiled at Cristiano who nodded at him before moving away from Alexa who crossed her arms.

Alexa watched proudly as her boyfriend talked with the President and took several photographs before he signed his contract that would tie him to Real Madrid for the next six years.

After a few more photographs, Cristiano returned to her side and pressed a kiss to her lips; Alexa smiled at him as he wrapped an arm around her to keep her close, it was nerve wracking and she was keeping him grounded.

"It'll be fine," Alexa said trying to reassure him, they had both seen the amount of people that had started to gather outside of the stadium when they had arrived.

Cristiano forced a smile at her as his agent approached him; he shook the younger Portuguese's hand as he peeked at the woman that Cristiano had brought with him.

"Congrats Cristiano," Jorge Mendes said making Cristiano nod as he snaked his arm around Alexa's waist, making hisagent raise an eyebrow at the blonde.

Jorge knew most on the inner works of the footballer's life and he had been surprised at the presence of Alexa in the past twelve weeks.

"And who might this be?" Jorge asked as he stared at Alexa, there wasn't something about him she didn't like; it set her on edge and Cristiano tightened his grip on the blonde making her look at him.

"Alexa... my girlfriend," Cristiano said with a warning look, he knew what his agent was like and Alexa was off limits; she meant too much for him to lose and he wanted to make Jorge aware of that.

Alexa leant against Cristiano while Jorge continued to stare at her, Cristiano glared at his agent who quickly looked away, he knew that this was different for the younger man; they had never expected him to get serious with anyone.

Jorge chuckled as he and Alexa stood in one of the private booths for Cristiano's presentation, the blonde looked a little stunned by the amount of people that were there just for something like this.

"You look surprised," Jorge said making the blonde look at himand nod, she had never been in a stadium this big before and everything that was happening was so new to her.

"It's bigger than Old Trafford... and seats 85,454 people compared to the 75,811," Jorge said making Alexa swallow as she took in what was being said, that was a lot of people.

Alexa jumped a little when she heard someone call her name, looking behind her she was greeted by Hugo who was grinningat her.

Hugo approached her ignoring the confused looks of his family, until one of Cristiano's sisters' recognised her and told the others.

"I knew you'd be here somewhere," Hugo said pulling the blonde into a hug; he smiled at Jorge who nodded at him before he released Alexa, he was thrilled to see her again.

"How was your sister's wedding?" Hugo asked makingAlexa smile at him, this was something she liked about him; he ignored the obvious, they might of only spoke briefly but Hugo had made her feel welcome.
