"Louis! Rise and shine!" My mother's voice got me awake, fluttering my eyes open as I witnessed the sunlight peaking through the curtains, making me groan. Then again, I'm not a morning person.

"Ugh! Go away.." I mumbled loudly, getting under the covers. I let out a shriek once my mother ripped the covers off me, making me feel cold and tired.

"Wow, you shriek like a girl" My mother chuckled lightly, as I playfully glare at her. I sigh, pulling myself out of bed as I moved to go to the bathroom.

"Lou, would it be comfortable... If you came to the funeral with me?.." My mother asks, her worried tone evident as my head shot up. I quickly rinsed my face and teeth before going back to my bedroom.
