The Kiss

This Poem was an accidental poem, i actually didn't intend to write it, my best friend asked me to write a poem about how she felt. :) so when i was writing, i liked it, and i wanted to share it with you guys. so yeah :) i hope you guys like it.

I've known you for a long time,

from someone i adored, you became someone i loved.

i didn't know back then,

that you secretly loved me the way i did before.

but when we kissed,

my whole universe changed.

Before we kissed, i felt the world stop behind us.

i felt as if we had time in our hands.

Oh i'll always remember our kiss,

the way you kissed my neck, oh the tingles,

that i call butterflies, that i felt

were nothing like the tickles we felt way back.

those butterflies, flew from the core

of my stomach up to my neck.

at that moment, i have to admit, i was

nervous, but i knew i could trust you

and so i closed my eyes and drowned myself in your kiss.

I didn't expect a kiss from you,

i thought i'd get a hug,

but i knew you better than that.

oh the kiss, i just can't stop thinking about it,

i want to replay the moment,

replay the feeling and how i felt at that moment.

i didn't expect he'd kiss me right then,

but when his brown eyes looked into mine,

i felt safe, i felt like we were drifting in a cloud.

we were never that close to each other,

so close that it felt as if we were one.

i felt like a princess in a fairy tale,

so lost and so sad,

until you awakened me with your kiss.

I have to be honest,

that was my first kiss,

You were my first kiss.

And i'll never forget about it.
