Chapter 12

Veronica POV

"We should go upstairs." Ethan said.

"Yeah go upstairs and go finish your homework." Ethan's mom said.

We walked straight upstairs and Mariah, Hannah, and Ethan starts doing the math homework. Aaron and I are on the Spanish homework since we are finished with the math homework.

"Veronica, what does this mean?" Aaron asked me while pointing to a sentence.

Ella juega fútbol

"She plays football." I said while smiling. To be honest, Aaron has beautiful eyes.

"Thank you." He said while smiling back.

"You know Veronica, you have pret-" Aaron was about to say something but Ethan cuts him off.

"Veronica, I need your help with this problem." Ethan said while pointing to the book.

"I'll be right back." I said to Aaron while standing up.

"Yes?" I asked Ethan while looking down at his book.

"This one." He said.

"Ethan, we learned that 3 weeks ago. How could you forget." I said giggling.

"Oh never mind, I remember now." Ethan said.

"Ok." I said while walking towards Aaron to finish the homework.

"What were you about to say?" I asked Aaron.

"Oh....umm.....I said that you have an.....a-amazing handwriting." Aaron said while pointing to my notebook.

"Oh thank you." I said while smiling.

After we finished our homework, Hannah took Mariah home so that left me and Aaron.

"Bye Ethan. See you tomorrow." I said.

"Yeah, Bye Veronica." He said while hugging me.

I walked to Aaron's car and I was a little scared.

"Let's go." Aaron said.

I nod and got in the car.

He took me home. When I got home I saw a car outside my house.

"What the heck??" I said under my breath.

Aaron got in the driveway and he took me to the front door.

"What's wrong Aaron?" I asked.

"What?!" He asked confused.

"You're never nice to me but right now you are." I said while looking for my keys.

"Yeah I know. I'm asking myself the same question." Aaron said.

I found my keys and opened the door. When I opened my door, I got a little surprised.

"Mom?!?!" I asked very confused.

"Hey Veronica." My mom said while smiling.

"Who's that?" I asked while pointing to the guy on the couch.

"I should ask the same question for you." She said while pointing to Aaron.

"Oh mom, he's Aaron. Aaron, this is my mom." I said.

My mom stretched her hand to Aaron and Aaron shook her hand.

"Is he your boyfriend??" My mom asked while moving her eyebrows up and down.

"No he is not." I said while crossing my arms.

"Veronica, since that incident, you have not been dating anyone. Honey, I want you to be happy like when you were with-" My mom said and my eyes got wide opened.
