Evan clung onto Connor's hand throughout the school day and felt pangs of nervousness as he went to first period— with Jared, but not Connor. Connor led him past the classroom though, over to Jason Dean, in the corner with Heather, Heather, Heather, Angelica Schuyler, and Veronica Sawyer.
"Angelica? Connor's t-t-therapist? You go to this s-s-school...?"
"Yep."
"Aaaaanyway." Said Connor. "JD, Heather, Heather, Heather, Angelica, Veronica- I need a favor."
Heather Chandler chuckled. "And why should we help you?"
"Connor and I are friends, we smoke together." JD interrupted.
Heather Chandler smiled. "Alright..."
"I need you to protect Evan. Jared Kleinman sexually harassed him, and... yeah..."
The Heathers laughed. "We'll make sure Jared's life is made miserable." Heather Chandler dismissed Connor. "Happy?"
"Yep. Thanks again."
Evan bounced off to class. Him? Talking and being protected by-by the HEATHERS? holy fern!
