Salam Everyone! Today I will be talking about the differences and similarities between Sunni and Shia. This is to bring light to everyone who may not know about the different sectors of Islam.

Differences:
•Shia's pray with their arms down and not crossed like Sunnis do.
•Shia's put their head to a piece of the earth because the Prophet SAW prayed on the ground and not on a prayer mat.
•Sunni's believe the caliph should of been Abu Bakr while Shia's believe it should be Ali.
•Shia's pray Dhuhr and Asr together and Maghrib and Isha together

Similarities:
•Follow the five pillars
•Believe in the six articles of faith
•Fast in Ramadan
•Both are Muslim

At the end of the day Shia's and Sunni's are both Muslim. There may be differences but the similarities are stronger. The differences divide but at the end of the day we are all Muslims and believe There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.
Sunni Shia doesn't matter at the end of the day we are all Muslim and that's what matters.
Let the hate just go away. We need to stay together.

  Salam!
