many people have a theory that jack could've possibly lived because there was enough space on the wooden board.
however, if you really think about it titanic wasn't about jack's life, he was just a character that was just there. the main protagonist was rose and how she survived the titanic while falling in love with jack. so somehow jack was supposed to be killed, in order for the story to be told by rose pov.
anyways, people say that jack could have survived if rose gave him space but logically speaking, there wasnt any space. the board was the right weight for rose and if she offered him to be on it, he was too heavy and the board would probably broken or it would have sinked, due to the amount of weight on it.
so, i don't understand why people think there was a possibility of jack surviving lmfao. unless someone has a great explanation of him surviving and being with rose.
