Trouble on the mountain

"How about we eat a snack right now, go skiing, go out and get something to eat, and then maybe find a club or bar" Ryan suggested. Everyone agreed and got there snow gear.

I'm not doing it" I yelled down the mountain. Everyone was down at the bottom waiting for me.

"Come on Kat. It's the only way down" Chris yelled.

"I swear if you don't come down right now, i'm going to come up there and push you." She threatened. I looked at her with my mouth hanging open and eyes wide.

"Just for that, NO" I yelled to her and crossed my arms.

I watched as she grunted and made her way up the mountain to where i was. She came close to me and stopped.

"Katherine, you will get down that mountain"

"Christina, no i won't. I don't even see why you came up he.." I didn't even have time to finish my sentence because she tackled me to the ground. My face landed in the ice cold snow and i screamed as some got in my jacket.

"Christina, get off of me" I yelled at her. She was now sitting on me laughing like there was no tomorrow.

"You have to get down the mountain, Kat"

I caught her off guard and slid from under her. My face was freezing right now and i'm pretty sure it was red. I shook the snow out of my jacket and looked at Chris who was still laughing. When i had enough i took off my ski's and threw them down the mountain.

When she saw what i was doing she stopped laughing. "Kat you need those to get down to the bottom."

"Oh i know. There's another way to get down there" I said walking towards her and smiling.

"Wha." She started but i cut her off the same way she did to me. We rolled around in the snow laughing. I didn't notice that we were on the edge until we were rolling down it. Screaming replaced our laughing as we tumbled down the mountain. It felt like we were falling for hours but i knew it was only seconds.

We were still screaming as we finally landed down at the bottom. I couldn't  see anything because there was snow all over. There was some pain in my head that caused me to groan.

"Girls are you okay" Blake and Ryan asked as they came to us.

I had my eyes closed as i was lifted into somebody's arms. I knew it was Blake the moment i layed my head against his chest.

''We are gonna have to get them to the hospital. The cuts look really deep." He told somebody.

*In the hospital*

I dont know when i fell asleep but when i woke up, I was in the hospital. I looked up at the bright white light and squinted. I sat up and took in the white room. I saw Blake sitting beside the bed looking back at me.

"How long have we been here" I asked him.

"About an hour. How do you feel?" He asked concerned.

"Better than i did an hour ago" I said smiling a little.

"I was worried about you Katherine" Blake said holding my hand and kissing it.

"I'm sorry" I whispered looking down at our intertwined hands.

"Don't be sorry. I'm just happy you are okay." He replied while leaning down to kiss me.

Someone cleared there throat causing us to pull apart. I looked at the nurse to see her smiling at the both of us.

"I'm sorry to interrupt. Katherine, you are free to leave now. You should be careful because you have a few stiches. Your cut was pretty deep but with a little extra rest, you will be fine in no time." She said while turning to leave.

"Wait, what about Christina. Is she okay?" I asked swing my legs over the side of the bed so i can stand up.

"Yes she is doing fine. She is out in the waiting room right now. She has the same cut on her forhead as you but hers is on the opposite side. She have a few stiches also, because hers were pretty deep as well." She smiled and left the room.

Blake had my coat in his hand and helped me in it. He wrapped his arm around my waist and led us down the hallway to the waiting room.

"Oh my god, Kat. I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." Chris said running to me and hugging me.

"I'm sorry too." I said hugging her back. Both of us were crying by now. When we were done, we let each other go and turned to face the boys. There face was priceless and they look like they didn't know what to do. We burst out laughing from there expression. They looked at each other and shrugged there shoulders confused.

When we got back to the lodge, it was about 3  o'clock. We made plans to go out for dinner at 6 and then out for drinks later. But for right now we were resting. I opened the door and collasped on the bed.

"What a long day" I groaned.

"I agree but i really liked spending the whole day with you" Blake agreed laying down next to me. I moved so my head was on his chest.

"Thank you for taking me to the hospital" I said looking me in the eyes.

"No problem. That's what mates are for"  He answered as i closed my eyes.
