A Ballad Of Seaside Heartbreak

Salt water, salt water, set me free
I've not a sin to spare
You're my best bet
On this journey to nowhere

We all believe empathy to be fatal
And sympathy to be weak
And if that's the case
You mean nothing to me

I could never fall in love with a tsunami
Nor a crashing tidal wave
For I am to be the biggest mistake
You've never made

In the mirror it reflects me
A soon to be pulled trigger
Perhaps that's all I'll ever be
Simply a failed sinner

Salt water, salt water, set me free
Leave the life vests at home
Following this, my entire damn name
Is sure to be known

A/N: I've got nothing to say really. My summer ends in a few days. I don't know how I feel about that.
