Trembling knees
And stuttering tongues
Dilated pupils
And ringing ears
All combusting together
Underneath the decaying
Surface skin cells
Yet no one be sober enough
To even notice
The strobe lighting
Or deafening bass
Flooding the once innocent
But never again
Atmosphere
Bodies colliding
Like a herd confined
By the whips
Of heartbreak
All these heart beats
All these alcohol stenched lips
Lost in lust
Drunk on desperation
To forget
To achieve the nirvana
Of ignorance
Desiring nothing more
Than to take a cramped backseat
And let the booze reign for a night
All to erase the unshed tears
In their bloodshot eyes
And the sight waver
In their seductive and scratchy voices
