"Mrs. GAYATRI SAXENA, AAP MERE BABA SE AISEY BAAT NAHI KAR SAKTI"

As soon as they heard the voice everyone turned towards the person who said that, it was none other than Sonakshi who had just arrived with Jatin and had heard Badi Maa berating her father as anger surged through her, no one had the right to speak to her father like that or, so she thought. While Badi Maa was not surprised, a burst of elation coursed through Bijoy, all these days ever since Dev had gone away and the truths had tumbled out he felt that his daughter was distancing herself from him or maybe did not keep him on the same pedestal of love, honour and respect like before but seeing her right now he felt that he was unnecessarily worried, his daughter was still the same, she still believed in the principles he believed in. While on the other hand, Asha just kept quiet, Badi Maa's words were hurting her, in fact it was hurting her really bad and now with Sonakshi arriving and looking at the demeanour of her daughter she knew that the situation will turn even murkier now, but she decided to not interfere, not now when there was too much ego and anger in the surroundings with her husband and daughter. And whatever she had seen of Badi Maa until now she was sure the lady in front of them was someone who would not hesitate to call a spade with a spade.

Sonakshi moved towards the trio along with Jatin as she spoke again "Aapko mere Baba se aisey baat karney ka koi haq nahi hai Badi Maa" she said as Badi Maa gave her a sardonic smile which angered her even more along with Bijoy as Sonakshi spoke "Aap huss kyun rahi hai Badi Maa?" she asked as Badi Maa looked at her.

"Dr. Bose, Pehli baat ye ki please mujhey Badi Maa matt Bulao. Mujhey Badi Maa bulaney ka haq sirf unn logon ko hai jinhey main apna maanthi hoon aur tum unn logon main se nahi hai. So please do not address me that" she said calmly as Sonakshi was left tongue-tied while Badi Maa continued "Aur rahi baat haq ki toh jiss tarah mujhey haq nahi hai tumharey Baba se aisey baat karne ka ussi tarah tumharey baba ko bhi haq nahi hai ki wo bina kuch jaaney bina kuch samjhey mere ya phir mere bete ke baarey main kuch bhi bura bhala kahey. Lagta hai tumharey Baba ki tarah tum bhi aadha sach jaankey logon par ilzam lagati ho. No wonder you are a Daddy's little princess" she said, this time the anger and mockery in her voice clearly visible as everyone looked on.

"Dekhiye Ba...I mean Mrs. Saxena" said Sonakshi, but the moment she said that a pang of sadness hit her heart, somewhere calling her Badi Maa gave her the feeling of being a close one to her and in turn to Dev but now with that right taken away from her she felt as if she was a stranger in their lives, though that was not far from the truth.

Before Sonakshi could continue Badi Maa cut her off "Dr. Bose, I had come here to talk to you but seems like your father is irked with the fact that his little princess is talking to someone related to Dev without his knowledge, seems like you did not tell him that you have been constantly calling me or rather irritating me with your calls for speaking to Dev. Why did you or rather how could you do that Dr. Bose?? I thought you never went against your father but seems like I was under an illusion" she said sarcastically as words failed Sonakshi, she looked at her father whose face clearly indicated that he was disappointed or maybe even angry with her.

"Sona...Yeh lady kya keh rahi hai, tum uss Dev se baat karney ke liye inhey call karti ho?" he asked but Sonakshi kept quiet as Bijoy asked again "Bolo Sona, kya yeh sach keh rahi hai?" as Sonakshi nodded her head slowly in agreement as Bijoy's face wore a stunned look, he was accusing Badi Maa and Dev of trying to manipulate Sonakshi against him but the truth was it was his daughter who was trying hard to speak to the very person whom he hated the most in this world, the very person who had hurt his daughter.
