"I AM SORRY DEV" as Dev heard it he turned to look at the person who said that, it was none other MISHA, a sad smile spread across his face. It was his friend, his confidante of the last eight years, his best friend, but could he say so anymore??

Dev stood quietly turning his face away from her looking at the kids playing as Misha spoke again "I am sorry Dev" but Dev stood their unmoved, his expressions stoic as Misha continued "Itney naaraz ho mujhsey ki meri taraf dekhogey bhi nahi Dev?" she asked. This was the first time Misha was speaking with him ever since her talk in the hospital after he had just survived the accident. Though she did call Badi Maa everyday to ask about his wellness, she never insisted on talking to him as she knew he was angry on her which was clear when she talked to him at the hospital. And she was ready to wait for him to talk to her when he wanted to, she would not rush her friend and spoil their beautiful friendship which was already under strain because of the happenings of the past few days, it was for the first time it had happened in the past 8 years.

"Main kaun hota hoon tumsey naaraz honey wala Misha? Naaraz apno se hua jaata hai" he said as tears made way from her eyes, Dev's heart pricked seeing the tears in her eyes, but he stood quietly as Misha spoke "Please Dev, aisey matt bolo. Please aisey matt bolo" she said in a pleading tone as Dev looked at her, he raised his hands and wiped her tears as a small smile made way on to her lips. She knew he could never see tears in her eyes, at least that did not change, she thought.

"Please Dev, kuch toh bolo? Scold me, if you want slap me as well but please don't be angry on me Dev, please don't stop talking to me Dev. Please don't do it" she said but it seemed as if it had no affect on him, Misha waited for a few minutes but seeing no reply or reaction from him she turned to go away just as she heard him speak.

"WHY DID YOU REVEAL THE TRUTHS TO EVERYONE MISHA?" he asked as she looked at him stunned, it was the same question which he had asked at the hospital and she had answered it but it seemed like he did not believe her or maybe he wanted to hear it from her again and probably give an explanation as well, how or rather why did they end up in such a situation??

"Jatin, Gaadi jaldi chalao?" urged Sonakshi in a panicked voice to Jatin who was at the wheel of the car, they were heading home to the Bose house after Asha had called them to inform about the visit of Gayatri Saxena.

"Sona, Shaant ho jaa? Pichley 10-minute se tu yahi keh rahi hai aur main ne tujhsey kaha ki chinta karney ke zaroorat nahi hai. Kaki wahan situation sambhal lengi" he said, his patience withering by the minute because of Sonakshi's constant bickering.

"Nahi Jatin, Agar Baba ne unkey saamney kuch ulta seedha bol diya toh? Aur tum Gayartri Saxena ko nahi jaantey Jatin, wo chup rehney walon main se nahi hai. Agar Baba ne galti se bhi Dev ke baarey main kuch bhi galat bola toh wo chup nahi rahengi. She is very protective about him" she said as Jatin replied "Jaisey Ishwari Aunty hai?" he asked as Sonakshi kept quiet, she did not have answer to it, was it? Was Badi Maa like Ishwari Aunty, she thought.

"Waisey tujhey kya lagta hai? Wo tujhsey milney kyun aayi hongi?" asked Jatin bringing Sonakshi out of her thoughts as she replied "Pata nahi Jatin, shayad wo abhi bhi naaraz hai jiss tarah mainey unn sey subah baat ki? Shayad wo Dev ke baarey main kuch batana chahti ho? Mujhey pata nahi Jatin but I hope it's nothing bad" she said as he nodded his head in agreement and replied "I also hope so Sona, I also hope so" he said and accelerated the vehicle to reach the Bose house as soon as possible.
