Chapter 14: Happy Birthday, Greenie!

A/N: Sorry the update is like a day late. Don't worry, I didn't forget about your Birthday. There were just some complications yesterday that stopped me from updating.

You wake up, anxious and even a little excited. You get dressed for the day in a maroon tank top and jean shorts brush your hair and leave it down. 

Frypan is there serving your favorite thing in the world...BACON AND EGGS! You smile at the thought. You head to breakfast "Hey, Fry." you say with a smile. Frypan smiles back and hands you your plate. "Do you know what today is?" you say with an enthusiastic smile. "Nope." Frypan simply says. You smile fades and you put your head down and frown. "Nevermind." you mutter and go take a seat.

He forgot! you thought to yourself.
They ALL forgot!

You were moody for the first half of the morning. You didn't even go to visit your brother because you were afraid that he'd forgotten too. You didn't talk to anyone. You hid out in your hut on breaks and you would climb whatever you could because the deadheads became off limits and that was the only area with good trees.

That night, you decided not to go to dinner because you were afraid to face everyone without crying. So you stayed, curled up in your bed, shedding silent tears. 

Then someone burst into your room and put a bag over your head. You were struggling and cursing at whoever had you in their grasp.

Then there was total silence and you were put down. The bag was removed from your head and you see a bunch of faces in front of you.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" said all of the boys in unison. You looked at everyone in shock and your tears of sadness turned into tears of joy. But, there was a tint of sadness because you didn't see Newt anywhere. "What the shuck, you shanks!" you yelled in complete surprise tackling Minho who was closest to you.

"Surprise, Greenie." Minho said, laughing as he was on the floor and you were on him, punching him playfully. "Okay, that's enough." said Gally as he pulled you off of Minho. He then gave you a piece of paper with writing on it.

You glanced at it and realized it was some sort of list or scavenger hunt. You read the first line

#1: You visit me everyday, hoping for the best of me

You immediately know where this is and head to the med-jack hut. You see your brother who was sitting up on the bed, wearing a smile on his face. "Happy birthday, sis." Justin said as he signaled you to go to him.

You sat beside him on the bed and he put something on your head. It was a flower crown made up of black flowers. "You are now princess of the glade." he said in a raspy impression of a duke. "Justin, you shouldn't have." you say giving him a hug. "And besides, I am not a real princess."
"Well, you'll always be my little princess."

You could hear awws behind the doors. You giggled as you heard them. "Go have fun." Justin said giving you a little nudge. You stood up and gave him a quick hug before taking another glace at the list.

#2: We are where you sleep. You will only use one of us on occasion and the other whenever you feel is right

You then head to your room, while the others followed you. You open the door to see a small shelf above your dresser. 
"It's for your writing." said Gally. "Did you build this?" you asked in awe. "No, the grievers did." said Gally sarcastically.  You playfully punch him in the arm. Then your eyes set on an outfit that was layed out neatly on your bed.
