How to Save a Life: Newt x Reader (EDITED)

Chapter 8: Dreamy Flashbacks

Alarms are blaring

 You, Newt, Frypan, Minho, and a couple others are trying to find a way out of this wicked place. You bump into a man with a couple of guards, "Y/N, Justin. Why would you do this to me. I am your father."
"-Shut it Rat-man, or I'll kill this girl!" said Minho as he was pointing a gun at a girl who was with you guys."That's your plan? I mean, I like her. But, she's an employee. Fire!" said Rat-man.

 Then one of the guards shot at Minho, causing electricity to shock him. The girl escaping his grasp.
"Minho!" you yelled, catching him as he collapsed. "Weapons hold!" came a woman's voice.  Then, a figure of a woman with blonde hair in a white pant-suit appeared. "He is only stunned." she said. "Bring them into custody and put them back into their rooms." the woman demanded.

Guards from all around were grabbing you and the others and putting you in separate rooms. "Newt! Justin!" you yelled as the two of you were separated. "Y/N!" Newt and Justin said in unison.
Then you were all separated into your rooms, more like jail cells.

There was a knock on your door as you were pacing your room worriedly and angrily. You grunted in response to grant the person access in. It was Rat-man...your father.

You faced him with an angry glare in your eye. He walked up to you looking calm, but then slapped you across the face, causing you to hit your head on the wall beside you. "How DARE you disobey me. After all I have done for you and your friends-"
"-You did nothing!" you say angrily as you struggle to stand. "Hurting us is not the way to find a cure!"

"But, we do it all for a reason. We need to check the strength of the youth to see how they survive at times like this. I was willing to sacrifice my own children to save others."
"-To save yourself!" you corrected. Rat-man looked at you in shock. "You want to save yourself. You don't think that I know, but I do! You're after me and my brother's blood to save your own! Your so selfish! You were NEVER a good father!"

Rat-man opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He suffered in silence for a moment, then thought up the words. "No, Y/N, I never may have been a good father, but I am a good doctor. And I think I may have finally found a cure. But, to double check on some things I need to perform a couple more...experiments."

Rat-man then closed the door behind him and you pounded on it angrily.

Scene Change BTYB Frypan's cooking*************************

You are on a hospital bed in some sort of operation room. You are tied down as doctors give you shots of serums. You had just finished the water tank experiment and you are wet to the bone. The doctors said that they had to slow down your heart before you entered the maze in order for your memories to be wiped fully.

Once they give you the serum that slows down your heart, your breathing becomes shallower and shallower and you black out.

You awake in with a deep and hard gasp. you were soaking wet. You took a look at your surroundings and realized that you were in some sort of big metal crate.

You scream with fear because you have no idea where you are or even who you are. In fact, you couldn't remember anything!

The box reaches the top with a hard thump. you clumsily lose balance and fall on your head. You groaned in pain.

But...you remembered your name...Y/N!

You awake with a gasp. You had just remembered something! But, as soon as you try to think of it more, the more the memory faded. Maybe it was only a dream? you said to yourself. You get out of bed and see a red puddle on your bed. 

Shit! you thought to yourself.

You got out of bed and changed your clothes (they were brought up along with you in the box)
You put on cream colored shorts and an army green tank top (bad choice of clothes, i know). You searched your drawers to find a pad and put it on before heading out to breakfast. Your cravings had just kicked in and you were craving Frypan's bacon. The problem was that you were either really angry or giggly on your period. Your hormones sometimes made you act as if you were drunk (In this situation, you were. The boys dared you to drink 5 jars of Gally's mixture and you somehow survived).  You just couldn't wait until you found out what mood you were in today! (Sarcasm)

You head to the kitchen to find Newt and Minho talking with each other at the kitchen. You ran to them happily, ignoring the huge headache you had woken up with (due to your PMSing of course) 

"Hey guys." you giggled putting your elbows on both of their shoulders. "You were in my dreams last night." you smirked, as they exchanged uneasy looks at each other. "Good for me that I'm the man of your dreams." Minho said sarcastically. You punched him hard on the shoulder, causing him to wince. "Not like that, you nastyy!" you said as he winced. "Are you okay, Y/N? You seem a bit off today." Newt pointed out as you were clumsily swaying off to his side. "Yeah, imm okayy, Newtie." you mumbled then chuckled. "I just started my period today."

"Uhm-what?" Newt coughed on his juice. You laughed and ruffled his hair before going to get your food. "Thanks, Fryy." you said extending the Y to Frypan's name. "Y/N, have you been chugging down Gally's secret recipe?" Frypan asked. "Nooppee!" you giggled before slumping down on your log, eating your breakfast happily. 

After breakfast you were a little more sane. You mentally abused yourself for saying those stupid things you said to Newt, Monho, and Frypan. You embarrassingly waited for Alby to escort you to the pit.

A/N: Hey Greenies, I had an idea for this chapter, at first it was just going to be about your dreams, but then I had the experience of a lifetime this morning by finally starting. ..

YAY TO BEING A WOMAN!

...yeah, not really...

Anyway, I hope yall enjoyed this chapter and laughed all your asses off.
