They didn't realise that they have stopped moving.

Lost in each other's eyes.

And the moment was ruined when Nitara sneezed. Her cheeks heated up once again.

'Why? Why god? Why do i have to embarass myself in front of this guy time and again?' she thought looking heaven ward.

Gabriel was just giving her the heart eyes, smiling at the adorable angel in front of him as she looked up to the sky.

Nitara then looked around.

They were near the outline of the woods. Nitara turned towards the tree which she had stashed her dress under earlier.

Gabriel was watching her every move. How she stumbled twice on the roots of the nearby trees. She was clumsy when she walked but fought with grace.

After she has retrieved her dress, she turned to him for saying good night.

"So, i think we should go. It's getting late." she said looking at her. He had a speculating look on his face.

"Yeah. We should."

Nitara started walking but Gabriel still stood on his place watching her retreating figure.

"Nitara?"

Her breath hitched when she heard him call her.

"Yeah?"

She turned to look at him.

"Would you come back tomorrow night?"

Nitara looked at him confused.

"To the clearing, i mean. Would you come?" he made himself more clear.

"Why?"

"Because."

"Because?"

"Umm.. nothing."

Gabriel was cursing at himself in his mind.

'Damn! Can't even ask a girl correctly!'

Contrary to the popular belief that Gabriel was a ladies' man, he was actually quite shy. Kaiden was rolling with laughter in the back of his mind. 

Seeing Gabriel flustered was a rare sight.

He rubbed the back of his neck. Nitara sensing his unease decided to put him out of his misery.

"Yeah! I will be here. Will you be here too?"

"Yeah."

"Good, 'cause i like your company." Nitara mumbled, then looked up not sure that he heard.

But he clearly did as his cheeks were a faint pink.

Was Gabriel blushing?

'Oh my god! He looks so cute.' Lena squealed. Nitara just gave a slight not of agreement.

"Goodnight Gabriel."

She turned and started walking away.

Gabriel just stayed rooted there, watching her go inside. When she safely entered the pack house, he started walking towards his home after wispering,

"Goodnight Nitara."

Nitara entered the pack house with a wide grin on her face. Completely oblivious to the person watching her entering the pack house wearing just Gabriel's shirt.
