Emily's POV

It's Saturday night and Tony was right about me being grounded. I wasn't allowed to go to the barn today, so I helped dad with his lessons at the college. When we came home Bailey and Tony were on the couch playing video games. My phone buzzed.

Em. Can u come over?

Will

I showed dad the message. He gave me the car keys. I smiled and ran to the car. I drove myself over to the barn. I was welcomed by neighing when I got out of the car. I made my way to the main house. I opened the door and tried to be like a ninja. Then I stepped on a floorboard that squeaked.

"Who's there?" I heard Will ask.

"A masked murder," I replied. I heard Will walking.

"Your dad let you?" He asked me. He pulled me into a hug.

"Ya, he probably feels bad about having me help him with his lessons" I explained. Will lead me to the kitchen. "Did you know th-" Will interrupted me by kissing me. He put his hands on my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He lifted me onto the kitchen island. He went to lift my shirt off but I stopped him.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Not now," I replied. He nodded. He rested his forehead on mine. He was playing with my fingers. "Is it me or should Sarah and Tony date?" I asked him.

"Yass." He replied. I laughed.

"That was a total white girl response," I said. He rolled his eyes. I pulled my legs up, so I was sitting crisscross. He went to the fridge. "Hey, I didn't mean to be rude," I replied. He took some tinfoil out of the fridge. He took out two plates and put the tinfoil on them, I looked away and he started the microwave.

"I'm guessing you're hungry." He said. I nodded. He went to the pantry and took two sodas out. He handed me one. He went back to the microwave when it beeped. He took the plates out and came back to me. It was pizza.

"Food is life," I said as I took a bite. I opened the soda and took a sip.

"I thought I was life." Will whined. "Or am I bae?" He asked.

"You and Dusty are both bae," I said.

"I'm tied with a horse," Will said. I kissed him on the cheek. He smiled.

"Happy?" I asked. He nodded. He then lifted himself next to me. I rested my head on his shoulder. I heard a knock on the door. I grabbed my phone, ready to dial. Will looked to me.

"It's open." He yelled. The door opened, Bailey walked in.

"Hey, guys." He said. He sounded gloomy.

"What's wrong? When I left you were with Tony."

"Sarah came over," Bailey said. Oh.

"Should I go or stay?" I asked Will.

"Bailey, do you want ice cream?" Will asked. "Your staying." He added.

"No! I'm not a girl." Bailey shouted. I smacked Will's arm.

"What?!" Will asked. He was rubbing his arm.

"He doesn't need ice cream. He needs to shoot something. This may sound like he's going through a breakup, but Bailey's friends are mostly girls. Him having Tony is the first boy in a while. Then Sarah comes and takes Tony's attention his pretty much saying that Sarah and Tony are going to date soon." I replied.

"Dumb it down." He said. I rolled my eyes. I checked my money situation. I was fine.

"Bailey, Will and I are either going to do laser tag or paintball. You want to come?" I yelled. I heard running down the stairs. Bailey was down here, he leads the way to my car. I looked to Will. He started clapping.

"How?" He asked. I lead the way to my car.

"Most of my friends were boys back at the ranch," I replied. I climbed into the driver's seat. Bailey was in the passenger seat, so Will climbed into the seat behind me. I turned the car on and pulled out of the driveway and drove down to the closest paintball place.
