The day was slowly and finally coming to an end. You knew that doing your job without having Doni or Aaron around would have been lonely, but you weren't expecting it to be this boring. It was early evening and you were making your way to the meeting hall where the queen would usually be in order for you to report to her.

Mrs. Jenny was there to greet you right away after you had entered the big room, and the blonde woman who was sitting on her throne stood up and waited for you to approach her. Once you did that, you bowed down and informed her that nothing out of the ordinary happened.

"I see. Thank you for your hard work today. How about you take tomorrow off? You deserve it." The olive green eyed female smiled after having heard you out, and you stood up and thanked the woman, adjusting your clothes a little. "You may leave now."

"Y-Your highness, there is something I was wondering about." You started, not certain if you should pose the following question.

"Fotula and Liliana are both originally from other kingdoms, and both of them volunteered for the princess apprentice position. Why would you accept their applications?" You asked, looking the slightly older woman in the eyes. "I have nothing against them, that was not what I was trying to imply. It's just that... there are certain people who belittle them or judge them because they are 'outsiders'... Won't that make them uncomfortable?"

"I am a little surprised. You are the first one to ask about this matter." Queen Rin couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "The fact that they are not originally from Rota is actually a reason why I considered their applications in the first place. Besides, we are on good terms with both Kinola and Puleuna kingdom."

"I want our people to know that it does not matter where you are from, what gender you are or other trivial things such as what the color of your skin is. I want them to understand that everyone should be granted the same chances." The queen explained and you couldn't help but be a little touched by her words. You and everyone else who lives in Rota are very lucky to have such a person rule the kingdom. "Does that answer your question?"

"I-It does. Thank you for sharing this with me." You grinned. The woman nodded, flashing you a gentle smile. "You have reminded me of something. Would it be too much to ask of you if you could tell Lady Loraine to come here? There is something I have been meaning to talk to her about."

"Of course not, I will tell her." You said, bowing your head slightly before bidding your goodbye to queen Rin. You exited the hall after also having wished Mrs. Jenny a nice evening and you soon made your way outside. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at the thought of having to talk to Loraine, but there was nothing you could do since it was requested by the queen herself.

After having taken a few steps out of the castle you could already see the blonde girl at the main gate, sticking close to her white haired boyfriend. "There she is..." You sighed deeply before approaching the two.

Loraine noticed you first and as soon as you stopped in front of them, she glared at you. "You again, peasant?" Myron who had turned his attention to you as well, avoided your gaze while pursing his lips slightly.

"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your whatever it is, but the queen asked me to tell you to go meet her." You said, crossing your arms in front of your chest while locking eyes with the blonde. She let go of Myron who she was having her arms around and brought her hand to her hip. "Yeah, you were interrupting. That hag can wait for all I care."

You instantly furrowed your brows at the girl's disrespect towards queen Rin. It took your everything not to lash out at her. "You won't get far with that attitude of yours, you better watch your mouth."
