The rain fell harshly across the pavement as you made your way slowly to the unknown place you were headed to. You reached up to pull your hood tighter to your skin as you felt water droplets lightly landing upon it. The sky was gloomy as was the mood in the sketchy neighborhood.

As you passed the old houses you could see some people glaring through their broken windows. "Who is she" you heard from one of the houses. "She shouldn't be out at this time" You sighed as you chose to simply ignore the seemingly worthless caring.

There was too much on your mind. You had to get away from it all... Just leave the wretched place that you had been locked up in for what seemed like forever. A sigh escaped your mouth as thoughts of what you had done suddenly came to your conscious. You deserved what you had gotten yourself into, didn't you?  You deserved the wrath of the world...the wrath of your parents...of your older brother who had warned you against what you had chosen to do. It was your fault.

It was always your fault, a harsh laughter escaping through your slightly parted lips. Tears threatened to cross your cheeks but you held it in, the pain that you had carried for all this time. You brought your hands into the pockets of your jacket as your pace quickened. You glanced to your left as subtly as you could, your ears perking up as they heard footsteps approaching behind you.

 Something wasn't right.

I don't have time for this crap you thought as you continued walking, barely acknowledging the group of people that were now following you.

A person's hand reached out for you.

You stopped in your tracks, clenching your teeth as your fists came out to your side. "What do you need" you said through gritted teeth. Your fingernails now digging into the palm of your hand as you resisted throwing a punch to the side of the man's face. It's definitely what you were trained to do. Your turned on your heels, your eyes giving the group of males a deadly glare. They looked at you as though they expected you to be fazed. But you weren't.

The man's hand was still gripping your wrist. You yanked it away violently as you looked into his cold eyes. "I said.." you stepped closer "Did you need something" your eyebrow lifting up.

A smirk filled up his face as he grabbed at your wrist again. The rest of the men surrounding you. "Of course" he said as he stepped even closer to you the smug look never leaving him. Anger fumed inside of you as you prepared to punch the lights out of him. One of the other men's hand grazed at your waist causing you to flinch away from his touch. Another behind you managed to scratch  a part of your arm. Pieces of...

Just then you saw a fist fly past you as it met with the man in front of you's jaw, but it wasn't yours. He was sent crashing into the pavement. The man who had put himself between you and the rest of the gang members towered over you. He grabbed the person who had landed on the pavement and punched him repeatedly. "The Savior who had rescued the lost girl" headlines of newspapers might be titled. The savior who threw punches at the man who had grazed her torso. The savior who had given no mercy to the one who had hurt your arm. He grabbed the collar of the man that was still in shock on the pavement. "Please...please..." the man begged in the Savior's arms.

The man that once smirked at my face now seemed small compared to the savior as he whimpered and begged.

"Please...we won't ever come near her...just let us go"

The savior looked down at him before giving him one last swing to the jaw.

The rest of the gang members could be seen through my peripheral vision running as if their lives depended on it. The man on the pavement now not moving.

The savior turned to me with blood on his knuckles. He walked closer to me bringing a finger to my cheek as he observed every inch of my face.

"Are you okay?" he spoke tenderly

I allowed myself to melt at his voice as my eyes turned to face the ground.

"Did they hurt you?" he asked again bringing my gaze up to meet his.

I simply shook my head.

He pulled me into his embrace as his hands smoothed through my hair. Y/N ah he whispered into the crook of my neck. I felt myself shiver a bit as I could feel how much he loved me through just how he spoke of my name. I gently pushed him away from me.

"It's not worth it Taehyung..It's no use. Just leave me"

I turned around hugging myself as I slowly walked in the opposite direction of where we once stood. I already missed how it felt to have his warmth around me. But I fought it. I fought how I felt. I just needed everyone to be safe....
