(Zane's POV)

School has been canceled for the month, though I don't see why they would make it that long. If you ask me, they should have only made it last for a week. Being stuck at home is boring, all of my football buddies have taken a trip up to Alaska. They asked me if I wanted to go, but I told them no thanks since I had a lot of things to do. Actually, I have nothing to do, I just didn't feel like going anywhere. I'm usually not like this, but after what happened a while back, I haven't felt like myself lately. I think it has something to do with that mysterious blizzard that saved me. I have been trying to figure out who casted it but I haven't gotten any leads. I soon got bored of flipping through channels on my TV and got up to go out for a run.

The moment I stepped out the door, is when I noticed that the weather had drastically changed. Everything was covered in snow, and the park lake was frozen. I looked up the weather on my phone, but it doesn't say anything about snow. It actually says that today was supposed to have a warm front pass through. I grabbed my jacket from inside my house and walked around for a bit, pondering on what was going on. I suddenly bumped into someone and apologized, but they didn't seem to react to what happened. I shrugged it off, thinking to myself that the weather must have him surprised too. I passed by the lake and saw children playing on the Ice, they looked extremely happy. I turned to walk away, but then I heard people running towards the lake and my first thought was something happened to the children. I rushed over there with them, but saw something that definitely was not danger. There was a beautiful women with white hair skating across the lake, I watched in awe as she gracefully performed difficult jumps and moves.

However, she was even more breathtaking than her performance. Her brilliant white hair framed her flawless facial features. The way her slim yet curvy body moved so gracefully, it sent shivers down my body. She was absolutely gorgeous, there was no doubt about that. I couldn't quite figure out who she was, but she did seem vaguely similar somehow. It seemed she was about to finish her routine, and the big finale was about to start. She picked up speed, skating as fast as she could around the outer edge of the lake. That's when I noticed the surrounding snow begin to follow her and she spiraled closer towards the middle of the lake. Then, once she reached it, the snow kept swirling and lifting into the air until it stopped. Then, she waved her arms and dropped them by her sides and the snow slowly fell like a snow globe. However, I saw her struggling to hold up the snow, and tons of it began to fall back down towards her. Thanks to my quick reflexes, I quickly skated towards her and wrapped my arms around her so mine would act as a shield.

Once the snow hit us, I noticed that it didn't hurt me when it fell down on us. We both surfaced, her hands were on my chest and she looked up at me, and I was robbed of my ability to breathe. She was even more beautiful up close, her eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder. The snow flakes in her hair made it sparkle and seem mystical. She felt so fragile, like the very snowflakes that fluttered around us. I studied her even closer and her pink lips suddenly became tempting and I guess she read my mind because she wrapped her arms around me and kissed me passionately. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and she jumped up and wrapped her legs around mine. Now my hands were on her bottom holding her up and the kiss became even more passionate. Our tongues danced as if they too were putting on a show, this felt like heaven. I could hear the crowd cheering, they apparently enjoyed watching us kiss almost as much as we liked doing it. We parted and looked into each others eyes and that's when the saddest moment in my life occurred...

I woke up on my couch...

I got up and ran to my door hoping that it truly wasn't a dream, but when I opened the door, my worst fear was confirmed. It was extremely warm outside, there was no snow or frozen lake, no children skating and laughing. And no beautiful angel that I instantly fell in love with. I walked outside, sulking and not even responding to anything around me. I didn't know where I was anymore, I didn't care anymore. There was nothing that was going to cheer me up, now I'm glad that we have this whole month off. I don't think I could survive in school like this. I heard something...

Off in the distance, I heard a shrill of laughter coming from the Starbucks across the street. It sounded familiar, almost as if it belonged too...

I started dead sprinting to the coffee shop and stopped as soon as I reached the steps. Sitting at a table, were a group of girls laughing and having a good time. I felt disappointment, but they noticed me and pleaded me to come sit at their table. I accepted the offer hoping that they might be able to cheer me up. I sat down with them, and they began fighting over who sat next to me and asked me questions. I recognized some f the girls from the cheerleading and volleyball teams. Then, as I took a sip of coffee, I heard someone clearing their throat in front of the table. I looked up and nearly chocked on my drink, the other girls instantly began asking if I was okay. I finally managed to swallow and look back up at the figure. She was a the girl from my dream, though she seemed a bit different. Her body wasn't as curvy as it was before, and she didn't have that same sparkle in her eyes. She looked stressed, like she hadn't had any sleep in days. But I knew it was her, there was no doubt about it.

Zane: *Stands up and points at the girl* Your the girl from my dream, the one who skated on the lake and I made out with.

This time it was her who started choking on her coffee. She started blushing really hard and I couldn't tell whether she knew what I was talking about or not. That was until she grabbed me by the arm and walked me into the restroom and locked the door.

Dream Girl: How do you know about that?!

Zane: Know about what? The dream?

Dream Girl: Yes the dream, how did you end up in my dream!

Zane: So that was you. I gotta say, you were really hot, and a good kisser too.

She started blushing even harder and then glared at me.

Dream Girl: Are you saying that I was only hot in the dream?!

Zane: No, your still gorgeous, but I have to admit that you really took my breath away in the dream.

I wanted to say more, but I wasn't given the chance at the moment. She jumped on me and wrapped her legs around me again and kissed me. I kissed her back and it was just like in the dream, only this time I could feel the full extend of the kiss. I opened my eyes after we parted and didn't see her anymore, instead I saw the girl from my dream.

Dream Girl: I have to hide my true form or else I become a big target for boys. I can't stand most men so I make myself look less attractive, but you don't seem like a bad person.

I couldn't respond, I could barely even breathe at this point. The woman I was searching for was there, and she was all mine. Then, she suddenly backed away and looked scared.

Dream Girl: Oh my gosh... I can't believe I did that...

Zane: Are you okay?

I wrapped my arms around her and she hugged me back.

Dream Girl: Sorry about that, I'm just not really an interactive person. But I missed that kiss so much I just couldn't help myself.

I rubbed her back and she looked up at me with those same eyes that made the rest of the world seem dull. She returned to her original form and we walked out the back door so her friends wouldn't see us. We walked to the park and revisited the memories we shared together... In our perfect little world.
