As days passed by, the past became just a memory as we hope for a better future. I'm glad a beautiful rainbow always shows after a heavy rain. We may encounter many obstacles along the way but life goes on. Time don't stop ticking, we need to keep moving forward towards the life we wanted.

In just a couple of weeks, we will be graduating from middle school.

Cherry and I have already passed on a university far from our town. We don't want to be separated with each other so we entered the same school. There aren’t any college schools here so we’ll be going to the Main City.

Kadence also tried to enter on the same university as us but sadly, he failed. Mikhail, on the other hand, hasn’t decided yet on what path he’ll be taking. As a friend, I should talk to him about it.

So here we are at the school cafeteria. It’s just me, Kadence, and Mikhail since Cherry is too busy preparing for this school year’s graduation day. Being a student council president sure is difficult.

I asked Mikhail straight to the point, “Mikhail, have you decided about your future?”

“I won’t go to college.” He answered at once.

“But why, man?? What about your dreams?” I was shocked on his answer. He didn't even think about it. Is he joking??

“I’ll look for a job. I can have a permanent work even if I’m not a college graduate, you know." he kept is wacky aura but I can see in his eyes that he's serious.

“Did your dad approve your decision?”   asked Kadence.

Mikhail pauses for awhile. He looked up on the sky for a few seconds then...

“...I didn’t talk to him about it. He doesn’t really care. I have to live a life on my own so I need to find a job. Besides, money will just be a waste on college. I know he’s thinks the same way as I do.”

“What are you saying? You have to talk to your father and ask for his advice.”

Is this the side of Mikhail we don't know? What's with him???  @.@

“Yeah, man. Kadence right. A parent knows what’s best for their children. I know he will negate your decision. A father always wants his boy to be a successful man who is able to fulfill his own dreams.”

“The last decision is still mine, isn’t it? And I have already made up my mind.” he firmly declared.

“Geez, Mikhail. Why are you so stubborn?”

“Look at reality, you two. A lot of people go to college, a few graduates early while some are left behind for another year or two. And what happens next to those few graduates? Only a fraction will be able to find a job suitable for the degree they took.”
