My kids school is 11 miles from my house. Usually we leave the house at 7:20am to get to school at 7:40-7:45am (no typos there). Today I got a warning text message that one way into school was backed up... so we left at 7:05am. Again... no typo.
By the time I got to the road that goes the 10 miles to school, both ways were closed due to an accident.
We got to school at 8:40am.
Again. No typo...
11 miles in an hour and 35 minutes.
On the way home... again 11 miles away... I had to go 15 miles because the southbound lanes were STILL CLOSED!
ONE ACCIDENT TOOK 2 HOURS TO CLEAR UP!
