Flygon TF

Wayne couldn't get enough of Dragon-Types. He deliberately went out of his way to start his Pokemon journey with a Trapinch. Flygon was always his favorite, even more so than the legendary dragons. He treated all of his precious creatures as if they were his family.

"All right, Skye! Finish him off with Dragon Claw!"

"Goooooon!" Skye flew in towards the trainer's Infernape and raked her claws against him. The flaming mon fell to the ground.

"What!? No! Did that just happen!?"

"Calm down, man. I won, you lost. Deal with it."

"Fine..." He fished some Pokedollars out of his hoodie pocket. "Here's my money..."

"Keep it. You just got here from Sinnoh, right?"

"What gave it away?"

"Mostly the fact that your team is Infernape, Luxray, Leafeon-"

"I get the picture."

"Whatever. Welcome to Hoenn." Wayne turned around. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to train my dragons."

"Overconfident piece of..."

Wayne didn't pay attention to the rest. He called Skye and flew off towards the desert on Route 111.

He put on his goggles (that sandstorm never ends) and landed on a cliff. Skye was happy to be back where she was from. "Flyyyy."

"Figured you'd like being back here. C'mon, I'll get the rest of the team and we'll have some lunch before I go all drill sergeant on you guys."

He sent out his other five dragons (Garchomp, Haxorus, Salamence, Dragonite, and Hydreigon) and gave each a few pounds of meat. When they were done eating, he had them break into pairs and spar. Wayne would critique them later. Each mach battle was exciting to watch, as is pretty much anything with dragons. In the middle, something caught his eye. Something was reflecting sunlight right into Wayne's face. He walked over and picked it up. It was a brilliant lime green scale.

"A Flygon's scale. Weird. Skye isn't shedding."

Suddenly Wayne's arm felt a bit dry. He looked it over, and found that he was growing scales.

"What in the name of Arceus- Gah!"

His fingers painfully merged into three and got skinnier. His fingernails hardened, sharpened, and grew until he had a razor sharp claw instead of a hand. He felt the dryness spread onto his chest. He felt a huge pain in his shouders, and quickly sprouted two large, diamond-shaped wings, desroying his shirt in the process. Wayne flapped his new wings a bit.

"That's pretty cool."

His wings were swiftly covered in scales. Wayne tried to get a look at them, but couldn't due to another pain in his other arm. He saw it also develop scales and become a claw. Both his arms became much skinnier and shorter. There was a sickening feeling as Wayne's torso got sleeker, and internal changes began. He almost threw up until they were done. Wayne looked at himself. He had seen this somewhere before...

"What am I... Holy Arceus. I'm turning into a Flygon."

Wayne quickly pulled off his goggles and shoes. His toes merged so that they were nonexistent. His feet extended quite a bit. His thighs thickened dramatically, while the rest of his legs seemed to disappear, causing Wayne to fall face-first. Scales covered his new legs. Wayne managed to get into a sitting position. He noticed they glittered a bit in the sunlight. He also noticed the scales on the tips of his feet were blue instead of a darker green. He started putting something together when he felt a buildup of pressure on the end of his spine. there was a rip and Wayne had a long tail that had already ruined something: his pants. He saw that, like his feet, there was a sky blue where there was normally green on his tail. The diamond tips on the end also had orange borders instead of red ones. He finally got a look at his wings, which also had orange borders. He was sparkling a bit more. A huge smile spread across Wayne's face.

"I'm turning into a shiny Flygon. This day couldn't get any better!"

His neck started elongating, accompanied by several pops and cracks. His hair turned blue and hardened. Two long antennae grew from his "hair." Scales advanced up his ridiculously long neck, and his face morphed into a draconic muzzle. Soon scales covered every inch of Wayne's body. Lastly, orange lenses grew over his eyes. There was no sign that he had once been human. He looked up and saw Skye flying to his perch.

"Wayne?" She looked around nervously. "Wayne!?"

"Skye, I'm right here."

Skye looked at Wayne like he was insane. "Sorry. I guess you're name's also Wayne. The Wayne I'm looking for is my trainer. Wait... How do you know my name?"

"Because I'm Wayne."

Skye's eyes widened under her lenses. "W-Wayne?"

Wayne nodded.

"How did this happen?"

"I really have no idea. But look at the bright side: I'm a Flygon! I've never felt better in my life!"

He jumped off the cliff and tried to steer himself back up, only to realize he had no idea how to fly. Skye caught him. "Calm down. You're a Flygon, but you don't know how to be one."

"Think we should tell the guys?"

Skye thought for a minute, then shook her head. "Nah. They'll think both of us are insane. Let's just say I found you abandoned by your trainer."

"That won't work. Who would just leave a Flygon, a shiny Flygon at that, out in the middle of the desert?"

"Any better ideas?"

"Good point."

Wayne's team never saw their trainer again, but they were happy to welcome Wayne as a member. Everyone except Hydreigon, anyway. Eventually the team broke up and went back to their old homes. Wayne and Skye stayed in the desert, challenging any trainers they'd find. Once a fighter, always a fighter. But it wasn't long before they ended up with an egg. The ex-human was caught off guard when Skye told him, but he took it with a smile.
