           Angela's POV

The next day at lunch.

I looked at our cafeteria's line and rolled my eyes, as always the girls line was longer than Ryan's last relationship and the boys line looked like the Sahara Desert.

"Angie, come sit here I got your food," Kat shouted from where she was sitting.

Good she got my food cause I'm really not in the mood to stand in that long line.

I went toward the table and sat opposite of Kat.

We started to dig into our foods.

"Kat, today with no excuses you will come and meet my mom."

"Fine, after school I will come."

"Good."

Someone cleared their throat behind me.

I turned around and came face to face with Caleb.

"Hello my beautiful ladies."

"Hey," I answered back.

"Hi Cal," Kat said with the cute nickname.

"I'm sorry Angela but I have to steal your friend for the rest of lunch," Caleb said while collecting Kat's stuff.

I'm 100% sure there's something going on between these two.

"Okay you can take her but only for today."

"Thank you, Angie see you after school," she waved at me before leaving.

I finished my lunch and throw away the dirty things.

I saw Ryan coming in the  cafeteria, before he could sit down I went to him.

"Follow me," I told him which in response he nodded his head.

We reached the same tree we came to yesterday.

I turned to him and sighed, "we need to talk."

"What are we doing right now?" He asked me with a raised brow.

"I mean somewhere out of school."

"If you wanted to go out with me so badly you could have just asked me," he smirked at me.

"Ryan don't make me hit you where the sun don't shine."

"Okay, okay calm down."

I took my phone out and stretched it toward him, "here put your number in my phone, I will text you were we will be going for talking after school."

He took the phone and started typing his number.

"For the name, write the blond asshole."

"What? Is this what you are calling me?"

"Yes."

He huffed in annoyance and gave me back my phone before leaving.

After school.

I was waiting for Kat, her car is still here but she is no where to be seen.

After waiting for a while, I saw her coming out of Caleb's car.

What is she doing in his car? I thought to myself.

"Ow, I'm sorry I was late."

"What were you doing in his car? Did you two skipped school?"

"Yes," she answered with a blush.
I wiggled my eyebrows at her, while laughing and went inside the car.

We played our favorite songs till we reached my house.

"Mom?" I shouted after unlocking the door with Kat by my side.

"In the living room."

I went there and saw her watching The Walking Dead.

"Mom my fri-," she cut me off.

"Can't you see I'm watching The Walking Dead," she said not taking her eyes away from the t.v.

Sometimes she acts like a kid, I'm not saying The Walking Dead is not nice, The Walking Dead is amazing I love it.

But she is addicted to that t.v. series.

"Mom, Kate is here my friend."

"Best friend," Kat corrected me, I looked at her and smiled.

"Oh, I'm really sorry come sit here."

My mom got up and grabbed her toward the sofa and made her sit.

"Angela, go bring us something," my mom told me with a look that said 'why are you standing there like that?'.

I went to the kitchen and brought two sodas for them.

After half an hour of my mom asking that poor girl questions, we excused us to my room.

When we reached my room Kat asked, "Is she always like that? Asking hundreds of questions?"

"No."

"Angie, I have a question."

"Say it."

"Where is your father and why haven't you ever talked about him?"

My eyes welled up with tears, "he's dead."

"Oh shit, I'm really sorry," she came and hugged me.

"He had cancer in his blood." I hugged her tighter, when I remembered my father calling me by the name 'Angel'.

"I'm sorry for reminding you of him. I'm really sorry."

"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault."

For 2-3 minutes there was no sound, we just sat there in silence with Kat.

'I got this feeling on a summer day when you were gone, I crash my car into th-' Kat's phone started ringing.

"Hi mom. I'm at a friend's house. Now? Why? Okay bye."

"That was my mom I'm sorry I have to go."

"It's okay you can leave."

We both got up and hugged each other.

"Bye, I love you," I told her.

"Love you too."

She left the house after saying bye to my mom.

I told my mom that I'm not hungry and that I will eat something later.

I played A Thousand Years by Christina Perri on my phone and layed down on bed.

After some time I felt myself drifting into a very deep sleep.
