they had us all pile into one big group for a photo and the couples all stood by each other, but jungkook appeared almost awkward and uncomfortable by my side. perhaps he remembered what he said about me to his friend jin.
that he was only pretending to love me in order to boost my self-confidence. as though i needed his pity.
i had been helpless, but i was never unhappy, until he tried to come in and open my eyes. until he tried to save me.
we both knew the truth of our circumstances and we ignored it behind smiles which we forced onto our faces in front of the camera. as far as everyone knew or thought, we were still friends at the very least.

i wrote this one and two more updates for this story in the drafts. i don't know if i want to post the other two tonight though. i'm super frustrated because im trying to get myself a new phone online.
and the tmobile website keeps crashing after i've filled out all the info fields.
its so fucking annoying. i just want my fucking new phone.
