Hayabusa takes a deep breath as he begins his long and hard mission. It would be a challenging task, but he was determined to complete it.
The voice of his master echoed in his head, telling him what to do.
Master: A true ninja must never let his guard down. That means one must have the ability to stay awake for days and still be aware of his surroundings. You also must know when to strike.
Hayabusa looks at the time. It was already midnight. He immediately prepares himself, hovering his hands in the air in front of him. Again, he hears his master's words.
Master: React quicker than the enemy. Adrenaline rushes can be both good and bad. Just keep your head clear and focused.
Hayabusa waits as the seconds tick by agonizingly slowly. Suddenly, he catches movement and instantly moves his hands.
Five seconds later...
Hayabusa: Ohmyf*ckngGordIcan'tbelieveIdidit!
Kagura bangs open the door and starts jumping around Hayabusa's room, excited and giddy.
Kagura: Hayabusa!
Hayabusa: Kagura! I finally did it! You don't know how long I've been staying up for this!
Kagura: Oh, did you also catch a legendary Pokémon?
Hayabusa: You caught a legendary Pokémon? That's incredible!
Kagura: Yeah, I'm so happy! Anyways, what did you do?
Hayabusa: I'm the first commenter on this comic!
Kagura: Er... Is that a romance comic? For girls?
Hayabusa: No, it's about a zombie apocalypse. There haven't been any kissing scenes so far. The title can be misleading.
Kagura: Well, when the comic is called, "Boyfriend of the Dead," anyone would think it has a plot similar to Twilight.
Hayabusa: Nah, it's comedy. Top quality stuff. I like the part where the zombie grandma dances.
Kagura: Really?
Hayabusa: That's not one of the best parts, but it's the easiest example I could give you.
Kagura: Maybe I'll check it out. Oh, hey. There's already over twenty comments, even though it's only been a minute since the chapter was published.
Hayabusa: What do you expect? It has over a million views! It's hard to get first comment in a comic like this!
Kagura: What's this one about?
Hayabusa: Go read it from the beginning.
Kagura summons her demons from her umbrella. The demons understand her request and hands her the newest iPhone __. She and Hayabusa read the comic together in peaceful silence.
Hey, everyone! Anyone miss me and the book? I'm wondering if I've been forgotten by now. Also, I haven't quit, just so you know! I've been working on another Mobile Legends book for the past 4 days. And guess what? I still haven't finished the second chapter! The first was only a prologue, so it was quick and easy. I think the book will be published in about one year at this rate.
ADDITIONALLY, THE COMIC I MENTIONED ABOVE IS 100% REAL! I read around 5 comics, finished 4, and found 2 that I really liked. One is called Power Pills (it's not a book about drugs, I promise!), and the other is, as you saw before, Boyfriend of the Dead. They're all on www.webtoons.com so be sure to check it out! There's so much humor, even though zombie apocalypse doesn't seem too humorous (unless you're laughing at how the zombies look like walking, green dogs).
