Last Chapter: The Downfall

They were still in the process of recovering from bewilderment. It was when a helicopter paved the way for the other land transportation owned by the UGS' armed forces.

Jade voluntarily went beside William before she dropped her gun. Pinanood lang siya ni William nang iabot na rin niya 'yung blueprint. 

"Don't worry, they're just here for them." She explained. "So, don't make any move. It's me that you want, then it's also me that you should get. Don't touch them, as you promised."

Malakas na tumawa si William bago tinignan muli ang blueprint, "I guess, I got scared for nothing?" He said while grinning.

"Here." Jade handed a microchip to his hand that caused him to release a menacing laugh.

"L-Luis?" Gulat na tanong ni Charice nang alalayan siya nito papasok sa isang van. "Akala ko nakuha ka nila?"

"Right," he replied. 

"But Jade called me earlier." Pagtuloy niya na narinig naman ni Ru na kadarating lang. "She asked me about my contact with Cedrick's father." 

"What do you mean? What's happening? Ano'ng pinaplano n'yo?" Gulong-gulo na tanong ni Ru at kinwelyuhan pa si Luis.

"Babakunahan kayo ngayon." Kalmadong sagot niya. "Dadalhin nila kayo sa UGS para bakunahan gamit 'yung ninakaw nilang mga bakuna." 

Parehong kumunot ang noo ng dalawa.

"They've been stealing from the GOE's hospitals these past few days. And also, distributing it to the people. I think, she wants us not to have microchip implants." Litanya niya nang mabasa ang kanilang reaksyon. Dumating na rin si Jay sa kalagitnaan ng kanyang pagsasalita.

"The microchip will hold a record of our offenses. But, how does it become dangerous to the extent that she's protecting us from it? I know that's the core of Mission 2020." Bungad na tanong ni Jay.

"Temietal Union was behind of this outbreak. Its people share the same vision na magkaroon ng crime-free na mga bansa across the globe. Sinimulan na nila na linisin 'yung kulungan. Sinunod na nila ngayon 'yung mga rehabilitation centers for drugs pati 'yung mga mental hospital---they believe that sick people were actually God-given punishment because of their sinful life---at kaya pati mga ospital ay isusunod nila.

"And, the chip will be their tool as it records every important private information about our individuality, dito nila it-track 'yung mga kailangan nilang patayin; kung sino na 'yung marumi na ang pangalan. Tulad ng sinabi mo, it's the core of their mission.

"Pinapalabas nila ngayon na unidentified ang pinagmulan ng sakit at naghahanap pa ng lunas pero after 3 months ilalabas nila na may bakuna na." Paliwanag niya. "Nabasa ko lang from a file in Mr. Meso's computer."

"Pa'no naman sila makakasigurado na bibilhin 'to ng mga tao kung nasa loob ng chip 'yung gamot na ituturok sa kanila?" Tanong ni Charice. "Lalo na kung private information ang id-disclose nila sa gobyerno?"

"This flesh-eating bacteria is different from what we know. This is highly contagious, worst, through physical contact. Kahit na 'yung sugat niya na madampi sa isang bagay tapos aksidenteng mahawakan 'yun ng walang sakit na tao ay posible na siyang mahawaan." He replied while Charice was left stunned. "A hundred percent, they will surely accept this dahil sa functions nito."

"So, that's it..." Tumatango-tangong sagot ni Jay. "Since, they will no longer have to touch anything that is for public use."

"'Yung scanner na pwede sa mga pinto pati sa bank transactions..." Ru said after he recollected the research they studied before.
