Hi, I'm Y/N Y/L/N and I'm a high school senior. I'm pretty normal, so I like to believe. I have friends, I'm on honor roll, and I have a crush on James T. Kirk, the womanizer in the school. But I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I even exist. I tried to get over him but it didn't work.
I was talking to my friends Harrison and Alexis about prom, which is fast approaching. I asked them who they're going with and Alexis said "I'm going with Tom Holland." Harrison got all jealous and I asked "Isn't he the shy British guy?" She nodded and Harrison said "I'm going by myself." Alexis said "There's got to be someone you want to ask, Harrison." He said "Well, I wanted to ask-"
Harrison was interrupted by Katie, my little sister. She said "Y/N, I've got something for you." She held up a folded paper and it said on the front 'To Y/N, From James.' Alexis asked "Which James?" Katie asked "Excuse me?" I said "There's 3 James in our class. There's James Potter, James Barnes, and James Kirk." Harrison said "They're pretty much the jock, the soon to be in the army, and the womanizer." Katie said "Y/N will see which one soon." She walked back to her group of friends and they all went away.
I opened up the note and it said 'Meet me on the roof, with the garden, after school.' Harrison asked "Are you going to go?" I shrugged and said "Possibly and I do want to know who wrote this." Alexis said "It can't be Potter because he's in love with Lily Evans." I said "It can't be Kirk because he doesn't know who I am." Harrison said "Y/N, he does know who you are. He kept bothering Alexis and I during English." Alexis said "I remember that day, we all got into trouble because of him." I started to blush a little and the bell rang. Alexis said "Great, I've got AP BIO with Fane." I said "I've got English with Massa." Harrison said "I've got Calculus with Sarmi." We all said goodbye to each other and went our separate ways.
After school
Harrison and Alexis, who just got out of choir, met me in front of my locker. They both said "Hey Y/N." I looked at them and said "Hey guys." Harrison said "Lex asked Barnes if he sent you the note." I asked "What did he say?" Alexis said "He didn't send it and he already has a date for prom." I smiled and closed my locker. I said "I'll see you guys later, I'm going to meet Kirk on the roof." I started to run and Alexis half yelled "We were supposed to carpool with you! But we will walk home!" I laughed and continued running to the roof.
Once I got to the roof, I saw a music box and a note. It said 'Turn around, beautiful.' I did and saw it was James Kirk.
He said "Hey, Y/N." I said "Hey, James." James said "Call me Jim, please. I have a question for you." I said "Okay Jim, ask away." James said "I just want to say that you make me super nervous and I think you're beautiful, smart, talented, and you have really good best friends. Alexis and Harrison helped me out with the note and making sure that you won't find about who wrote the note. My question is will you go to prom with me?" I said "Yes but only 2 conditions, you don't stand me up and you treat me good." Jim said "Deal!" I asked "Do you know how to dance?" He shook his head and said "My mom never taught me how to dance." I said "Well that's okay, I could show you how to dance. My dad made sure I took lessons when I was little."
I went to the music box and saw one cd that could help. I put it in and I turned the music box on. We went to the middle of the roof and the music started to play.

Jim learned pretty quick and we smiled at the end of the song. I said "See? You're a quick learner." He said "That's because I have a good teacher." I looked down at the ground and smiled. He put his hand underneath my chin and made me look at him. He said "I'm glad that you're my date." I said "Me too Jim." We were about to kiss when it started to rain. We ran to get back to the school and to get the music box.
Jim started to hang out with Alexis, Harrison, and I during the school day and outside of school. Tom ditched Alexis for a girl name Liz Allen and Alexis was really upset. Harrison asked her to be his prom date and she said yes. They were really happy and they will make a cute couple.
Prom finally came and I was wearing a beautiful black dress. I had my hair down and it was curly, Jim's reaction was pretty funny and my family and I were laughing at him.

Jim was matching and we were going to Alexis' house, which is right next to mine and Harrison was on the other side of my house. Alexis was wearing a beautiful red dress and Harrison was wearing a matching suit. Alexis also had her hair down but it was straightened.
She said "Harrison's reaction was funny and cute. He said "That's my beautiful girl. I'm so in love with you. We're going to have beautiful kids one day." Harrison said "My jaw also dropped before I said that. I have no regrets." Jim said "I said the same thing." We all laughed and I said "Let me guess, your dad said "You have to propose to her son, but you are already part of the family." Mr. Hiddleston, Alexis' dad, said "Yup, now let's take a group photo."
We left Alexis' house at 7:30 and we got to prom at 7:46. We all had fun and Tom was jealous that Harrison had asked Alexis to prom. Jim and I were prom king and queen, which was surprising for me. Harrison took pictures for us. We all said that it was the best day in our high school experience.
After prom ended, all 4 of us walked home. Alexis and Harrison were in front of us and they were talking about the future. I asked Jim "So what are you going to do after graduation?" He said "I don't know. What about you?" I said "I want to go to Star Fleet." He asked "Do you know what Lex and Harrison are going to do?" I said "They're doing the same as me. We already signed up and we're going after graduation." We stopped and Jim asked "Promise that our relationship won't end after graduation?" I said "I'll promise if you promise." He nodded and we both said "I promise." We both kissed and
15 years later, Jim and I got married and we work on The Enterprise, Jim is the captain while I'm a navigator. Alexis and Harrison also worked for The Enterprise, Alexis is a science officer and Harrison is an engineer. They are married and have a beautiful daughter name Natasha Jessica. Jim and I have a handsome son name Leonard Peter, yes we named our first son after our good friend Leonard McCoy or as Jim calls him "Bones". We're all happy and we couldn't have been better knowing that we're best friends.
