And then it hit me.
Albus Dumbledore.
Shakily getting to my feet, I pulled a piece of parchment out of a drawer. Along with a quill and a bottle of ink.
Quickly jotting down the note, I gave it to Ditzy. Giving him specific directions.
And not even an hour later, Albus Dumbledore was in my living room.
Rushing over to him after hearing him apparate, I pushed the Daily Prophet under his nose.
"Explain."
Albus paled slightly.
"Clairesse-"
"I thought I asked you not to call me that?"
"Clairesse this is an important matter."
"Really? I had no idea! Now are you going to quit calling me that?"
Albus sighed. His old eyes wondering around the living room.
"When did you get here?" He asked.
Rolling my eyes at his lack of answers, I folded my arms.
"Six days ago. Now answer me," I ordered.
"Sirius only recently escaped. I didn't know how to tell you, but I knew you'd find out eventually," Albus muttered.
"Eventually?! He's my husband, Albus! I'd have liked to be one of the first people to know!" I spat.
"I realize that now. But Clairesse, you have to understand, you may not be right about Sirius," Albus sighed.
"I know that Albus! But how am I ever going to know, if I'm hiding in my house believing my husbands a murderer, when he may not be?!" I bellowed.
"Clairesse. I want you to give me three good reasons as to why you believe Sirius is innocent," Albus stated.
Glaring at him, I nodded.
"For one, I know for a fact he's not a Death Eater. Don't give me that look, I've seen him shirtless plenty of times. I think I'd notice if he had a dark mark. Two, you wouldn't think the man that called his daughter his princess and ate pancakes every day because his princess asked for them, would be a murderer. And three, I can't imagine the man I fell in love with, to be a murderer."
Albus slowly nodded.
"The Azkaban guards. They heard him muttering in his sleep," Albus stated.
"What? What was he saying?" I questioned.
"He said, 'He's at Hogwarts'."
I stared at him curiously.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"We think he's talking about Harry," Albus said.
"Harry? You think Sirius is after Harry?" I inquired.
"Who else would he be talking about?" Albus asked.
"Then I need to be at Hogwarts, Albus. If he's looking to go to Hogwarts, then he knows Scarlett will be there! I need to be there for both Harry and Scarlett!" I stated.
"And how are you going to be at Hogwarts?" Albus questioned.
I looked up at him with hopeful eyes.
"Clairesse. There's not a single open spot for you," Albus sighed.
"Not even Defense Against the Dark Arts?" I asked.
"No. I just hired someone last week," Albus stated.
"Who?" I questioned.
Albus looked as if he was debating answering my question. But eventually he gave,
"Remus Lupin."
My eyes widened.
"R-Remus?"
Albus nodded.
"T-Then maybe Remus and I could work together," I suggested.
"You'd have to ask Remus if he'd be fine with that," Albus stated.
"But you're fine with it?" I asked.
"I am. But Remus has to agree, can you do that?" Albus asked.
"Consider it done."

Sorry that this was short, and that it was late!
I kind of absentmindedly gave myself a small break.
I realized I had a bunch of stories in my library that I haven't been reading, and then I realized I haven't been reading at all. It's just been writing.
Reading other people's stories was how I fell in love with fanfiction, and started writing my own.
So while I am sorry for not updating as frequently, I do want to be able to read as much as I write. I'd like to have a schedule, but at this point, I doubt I'd follow it. So for now, I'm just going to update as much as possible.
I hope you all are enjoying this story so far – I personally, am not very happy with how this chapter turned out – and I hope you all have a nice day!
