Hi guys, i haven't updated in so long and this one is so short and i'm sorry but i really didn't want to continue this chapter from where it had ended because i really like the ending.

++++ Ashton’s POV++++
“Something you’re not proud of? Did you drive Wren away again?” Luke asked squaring up to me.
“No, it’s nothing like that.” I replied running my hand through my hair anxiously
“Then what is it?”
“I told her Michael was violent and that tonight wasn’t the first time he had lashed out.” I replied
“That’s what we wanted, what are you worried about?” he asked
“If Wren ever finds out that I lied-“
“She would much rather be with someone who lied to protect her than be with someone who’s violent.” Luke spoke.
“But I’m not lying to protect her, I’m lying for her.”
“Same difference.” Luke muttered as if it was nothing
“No it’s not Luke, how could you say that?”
“Look, you wanted her, this is your chance.” He stated
“I wanted her to be with me because she genuinely wanted to be, not because I lied her into it.” I whispered
“Ashton, you’re oblivious to everything aren’t you?” Luke smirked
“What are you talking about?” I asked
“Wren doesn’t care who she’s with as long as she’s with somebody. I’m never around and she needs extra support.”
“She wouldn’t use Michael.” I replied
“No, no I know she won’t.” He smirked “She’s using you.”
