The fog is rolling outside,
Casting the town in dreary shadows.

December is like a book now,
Pages are being slowly turned as we get closer to the end.

Christmas is around the corner and lights are strung up everywhere, trees are in every corner and cups are filled with warm liquids.

Warm rooms start to feel a little bit warmer,
And we walk with our arms wrapped around us to fight off the cold wind.

I'm always so excited to see you,
And I hope we can spend a weekend together sitting by a decorated tree drinking peppermint tea sometime soon,

You light up my heart like the Christmas lights on my house,
And your just as warm as my favorite ugly sweater,

I hope your going to stay awhile,
It's nice having you around to hold my hand in your pocket when it's cold,

And
You mean a lot to me.

Your the best present I got this year.
Thanks for being mine,

And helping me heal,
And find myself again,

I really needed that.
I really need you.

Merry Christmas,
hope you have a good one this season.
