I tried so hard to keep everything hidden from him. But the letter kept coming. I got about three letters a week saying different swearing words and calling me different names. I wonder if the writer regularly read dictionary just to add some new swearing words to their vocabulary.

I laughed at that thought as I threw the letter into my locker.
