The rest of the summer came like a blur. It was a mix between sunshine, lemonade, warmth, and him. It flew so fast that the next thing I knew, I already walked down the school hallway.
But what surprised me was a letter slipping out from my locker.
I opened the small piece of green paper and read. I should have known what the letter would be about before I read it.
But i read it. And it was exactly what I thought it would be about.
I quickly made it into a ball and threw it into my locker.
I didn’t want it to hurt me. But it did.
