About a week or so later, Tommy was back on the bus. I found out that he was dating a girl I used to be friends with. He didn't know that I knew. I found out one day riding the bus home. He said her last name wrong when someone asked him. I corrected him in my head.
I didn't talk to Tommy for a week. In the meantime, Jonathan and I would talk. He told me that Tommy was dating this girl named Kiara. I believed him halfway because I knew that he wasn't dating Kiara. It seemed like Tommy was a player. I didn't want to believe it.
One afternoon, on the weekend, Jonathan came over. He talked more about that Kiara girl. He said that she had a Facebook, so I looked her up. She was friends with Tommy on there, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. The more I looked at her, the less I believed that he was dating this girl. I came to the conclusion that Jonathan was lying. But why?
