Chapter Ten

Ruth just staring at her. Sheila was far different from any other girls around. She doesn't do make-up, but she's pretty. She doesn't wear classy dresses but she made more beautiful in simple jeans and shirt. So how does she not notice that everything in her are---incredible?

Ipinilig niya ang ulo. This is too much, Rosales. You're getting so far. He keeps on reminding his self that sheila is out of the list. But who cares? Admiring someone silently isn't a crime. Unless you commit a crime. But how about Being untrue to her and dishonesty? Those are part of the crime.

"Uy!"

Tila siya nagbalik sa kasalukuyan ng pumitik ito sa harapan niya. He just watching her while she eating. "I'm sorry.."

"Ba't di ka kumakain? Ayaw mo ba ng inorder natin?" Nagtatakang tanong nito. After they had a long day of roaming around the whole City aya nakaramdam na ito ng gutom.

So he'd decided to take her here in one of his favorite food places. "Of course not. Masasarap kaya ito."

Humiwa ito ng pagkain at iniumang sa kanya. Kusang bumuka ang bibig niya. "At ako ba 'yang iniisip mo?"

Kulang nalang ay malunok niya ang karne na isininubo nito sa kanya. Humalakhak ito. Even her laugh is so addicting. "Nagbablush ka!" Bulaslas nito. She covered her mouth while crazily laughing at him.

Nilingon niya ang paligid. Maraming tao ang halos nakatingin sa kanila. Ang tawa nito na tila musika ay nakakahawang kinangiti niya. He doesn't feel annoyed anymore. Instead, he felt normal. A man who knows how to appreciate the sense of humor.

Kusang huminto sa pagtawa si Sheila ng may marinig ito. Gaya niya ay napahinto din siya. Then she sang.

"Isn't she lovely Isn't she wonderful.."

She was smiling while humming softly. "Tara sayaw tayo." Tumayo ito at hinawakan ang kamay niya.

Napapatingin siya sa mga tao. Mangilan ngilan sa mga magpapares na naroroon ay may kanya kanyang mundo habang nakikijive sa magandang awitin. "Ang ganda dito..."

The barracks food park Tagaytay ang isa sa mga paborito niyang puntahan dito. They offer a variety of foods to choose from. Dito niya ito dinala. "Buti naman nagustuhan mo dito." Aniya. Umangat ang braso nito sa batok niya. They're swaying together.

Walang ballroom ang lugar but it has a small flatform when the local band performed. The place is well lighted.

He is a survivor by looking at her enchanting beauty. Ngayon niya napatunayan na hindi siya namamalikmata sa tuwing tititig siya dito. Sa tuwing sisilayan niya ang mukha nito mula sa malayo. "Staring is rude." saway nito.

Tumaas ang isang balikat niya. "I know."

"Then why you staring at me?"

Isn't she pretty

"Dahil maganda ka." He was like a stupid boy complimenting the girl he liked.

Nakita niya ang pamumula ng pisngi nito. She even looks more beautiful when she blushed. "Bolero." Yumuko ito. He lifted her chin.

"Kapag tumitig ka sa mga mata ko habang sinasabi kong maganda ka. Ibig sabihin totoo 'yon. Na 'yon mismo ang nakikita ko." She gulped. "Look at me now. Look directly to my eyes."

She did. Nalulunod siya sa kinang at kislap ng mga mata nito. Those pairs of eyes delivered him to the edge of nowhere.

"You're beautiful, baby..." He whispered. And he hadn't known what got into his head why he bent down and now claiming her lips.

The barracks food park tagaytay nag eexist talaga siya. Been there before. Masasarap ang pagkain doon. May Mexican, pasta and filipino foods. Pero gusto ko lang sabihing gawa gawa ko lang ang band. Hindi ako nakakita ng band noon doon. Yan kasi yung naisip kong place para sa first dance nila. Hihihi..
