for any lies

for believing

your empty words.

for not loving me
but at myself
for letting
you treat
me the way
you did.

hell, i deserved hell a lot
better than you

for settling for something as faux as you.
I'm not mad
at you for cheating on me,
I'm mad at myself
for i trusted a snake
in devil's suit.
I'm not mad at you for leaving
I actually should thank you.
but at myself for
I cried on your departure.
I'm mad at myself
for being so blind.
I couldn't see ten feet in front of me.
but thank you for waking me up from this unpleasant dream.
& in a way
saving me from falling in a pit of darkness,
that you lovingly dig for me.
